Terrorists in J&K killed a bank manager in yet another attack on civilians

A bank manager was shot dead by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Thursday. The incident comes amid a spate of attacks on non-locals. This is the second civilian attack within a week. Earlier on Monday, a school teacher was killed by terrorists. The incident took place at Ellaqie Dehati Bank in Areh Mohanpora in Kulgam district of the north-eastern Kashmir region.

A bank manager of Ellaquai Dehati Bank – Vijay Kumar of Rajasthan – falls to the bullets of terrorists in Kulgam. Now terrorists targeting public servants too. High time for security agencies to workout a strategy to stop this vicious cycle of violence. Rajini Bala’s family claims they had urged the government for a transfer but it was too late by then.

A Kashmiri TV actress, Amreen Bhat, was killed in Budgam’s Chadoora area, while her 10-year-old nephew was injured. Three soldiers were injured in an explosion that took place in Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian on Thursday.

This decision marks a pivotal moment in the realm of Tamil cinema and the entertainment industry at large.

Historical Context:

The Indian film industry, particularly the Tamil film industry, has seen its share of controversies and challenges related to film releases. The Madras High Court’s decision to permit early screenings of “Leo” comes as a response to a plea filed by the film’s producers. The court, while considering the plea, took into account various factors, including the film’s anticipated popularity and the prevailing circumstances. The court emphasized the importance of accommodating the audience’s interests and allowing them to enjoy the film without disruptions.

A Step Towards Normalization:

The court’s decision signifies a positive shift in the film industry, where release dates and screening times are often mired in controversy.
