The family of actress Noor Malabika Das breaks their silence about her passing and reveals that she battled depression.
According to authorities, actor Noor Malabika Das, who starred alongside Kajol in the 2023 web series The Trial, was discovered dead in her Mumbai apartment on Monday. They believe she committed suicide. Her family has now revealed that the late star battled depression, according to a story published in The Times of India.
“She went to Mumbai full of hope.”
Noor Malabika Das was from Karimganj in Assam. Speaking to the media from their Karimganj family home, her paternal aunt Arati Das described the late actor as someone who “went to Mumbai with big hopes to become an actress.” She was working very hard to accomplish this, though. The Mamdani Health and Education Trust NGO, which manages the cremation of unclaimed bodies in the city, helped the police on Sunday execute her final rites after no one came forward despite efforts to contact her family, according to the Mid-Day story.

Prominent Kannada actor Kichcha Sudeep called for justice for the victim’s unborn kid and wife as additional horrible details from the murder case came to light. It appears that the police and the media are putting a lot of effort into finding the truth. Undoubtedly, that family is deserving of justice. Justice should be served to that girl. Justice is due to Renukaswamy, who passed needlessly on the streets. The foetus is entitled to justice. Above all, justice should win in this case, and everyone should have faith in it.”

On June 11, Darshan, Pavithra Gowda, and other individuals were taken into custody in relation to the June 8 murder of Renukaswamy, a Chitradurga native. It is said that he was kidnapped, tortured, and killed because he sent obscene messages to Pavithra.
