Traffic advisory issued in Delhi ahead of Republic Day Parade rehearsal
Delhi Police on Saturday issued a traffic advisory ahead of rehearsals for the Republic Day parade next week.
According to the announcement, the rehearsal for the Republic Day Parade 2022 will be held at Raj Path on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, from Vijay Chowk to India Gate.
During the rehearsal, traffic will be restricted at Rajapth-Rafi Marg, Rajpath-Janpath, Rajpath-Man Singh Road and Rajpath-C-Hexagon from 9am to 12pm, it added, adding that Rajpath from Vijay Chowk to India Gate Traffic will also remain closed.
The parade will start at Vijay Chowk and head to C-Hexagon via Rajpath.
Traffic will be diverted. Commuters are required to obey traffic rules, road discipline and follow the directions of traffic police officers deployed at all intersections, the announcement said.
It advises commuters to take an alternative route from north to south and vice versa, using the loop (Ashram Chowk-Sarai Kale Khan-I P Flyover-Rajghat), from Lajpat Rai Marg-Mathura Road-Bhairon Road-Ring Road, from Lajpat Rai Marg-Mathura Road-Bhairon Road-Ring Road Aurobindo Marg -Safdarjung Road-Kamal Attaturk Mar-Kautilaya Marg-Sardar Patel Marg-Mother Teresa Crescent-RML-Baba Kharak Singh Marg, from Prithvi Raj Road-Rajesh Pilot Marg-Subramaniam Bharti Marg-Mathura Road-Bhairon Road-Ring Road and Burfkhana – Azad Market – Rani Jhansi Overpass – Punchkuian Road – Hanuman Murti – Vande Matram Marg – Dhaula Kuan.

As Janaki in the new Adipurush poster, Kriti Sanon emanates charm and dominates the internet
Adipurush featuring Kriti Sanon and Sita Navami unveiled new posters showcasing her as Janaki. The producers of Adipurush unveiled a new motion poster featuring Kriti Sanon, inspired by Sita from the Hindu mythology text Ramayana. The poster is a beige saree with a saffron dupatta covering her head, and features Prabhas as the main theme. It was unveiled on Ram Navami. Kriti and Janaki are reunited and the song Jai Siya Ram is heard in the background. The makers have revealed new posters on Ram Navami, showing the moral courage of their son.
