Twinkle Khanna shares a video of kids’ room makeovers and advises storing the iPad with books

On Instagram, Twinkle Khanna posted a video of a children’s bedroom makeover. In the entire video, which was first posted by Tweak India, Twinkle can be seen independently redecorating a child’s room. The actor-turned-writer is married to actor Akshay Kumar, and the two of them have two kids: a son named Aarav and a daughter named Nitara.

Twinkle Khanna discussed the difficulties involved in designing a child’s room in a brand-new video posted on Tweak India’s YouTube channel. “They’ll be obsessed with BTS (a K-pop group),” predicts Twinkle, “one day they’ll be singing Baby Shark 6000 times a day until you want to stitch your ears shut.”

She said that since children frequently bump into things, a large amount of space is required in their bedrooms. Twinkle continued, “I like to add bright colours, but as they get older, I switch to muted tones.”

Twinkle also advised her followers to hide their children’s iPads and replace them with books in the video. She also made a play area in a corner of the room where the kids can play instruments, draw, or engage in other activities that interest them. Twinkle advised parents to use gender-neutral colours in their children’s bedrooms at the conclusion of the video.

Loved this segment, said one fan. The colour scheme and overall design are very nice, even though I’m not sure the kids would keep the room tidy. I adore how Twinkle speaks like a regular person rather than a famous person. I doubt the kids will keep their room this tidy, another person remarked. “Loved the idea of replacing the iPad with books,” one person said.

Twinkle made her acting debut in 1995 with Barsaat, and she gave up acting after the release of Love Ke Liya Kuch Bhi Karega in 2001. She has frequently stated that she did not enjoy her time in movies, and in a Koffee With Karan episode, she even acknowledged, “I was a terrible actress.”

She made her writing debut in 2015 with Mrs. Funnybones. She then followed it up with the fiction book Pyjamas Are Forgiving and the anthology of short stories The Legend Of Lakshmi Prasad, both of which were published in 2017.

Family Star review

The Hindustan Times’ review of the movie Family Star, starring Vijay Deverakonda and directed by Parasuram Petla, suggests that the film struggles to make a mark or entertain, with issues reminiscent of Geetha Govindam (2018). The film tests patience and fails to maintain interest as it progresses.

The review criticizes the plot of Family Star, stating that it is thin and defies logic, making it difficult to enjoy. It also suggests that the film’s portrayal of middle-class life is caricaturish, as if it was written by someone unfamiliar with the realities of such a life.
