Two policemen attack judge in Bihar court; HC asks DGP to file status report

Two police officers allegedly attacked a judge in a court in the Madubani district of Bihar on Thursday, prompting the Patna High Court to conduct a full investigation of the matter and request the chief of police of the state to submit a copy status report. Two police officers entered the court while hearing a case involving them and allegedly pointed their guns at other districts in Ganjapur and the council judge Avinash Kumar and attacked him. The judge was safe, but was reportedly shaken by the sudden development.

Station officer Gopal Krishna and deputy inspector Abhimanyu Kumar also attacked and injured lawyers and court employees who were trying to protect the judge. The High Court Chamber composed of Justices Rajan Gupta and Mohit Kumar Shah described the incident as “unprecedented and shocking” and directed the DGP When the matter was heard on November 29, the status report related to the incident was submitted again with a sealed cover.

On the same day, DGP was also instructed to appear in court. “On the surface, this incident seems to put judicial independence at risk. Therefore, we think it is appropriate to issue a notice to the interviewees: Chief Secretary,…Bihar Police Chief, Chief Secretary of the Ministry of Interior… And the Chief of Police (Madubani)”, the court said in order. According to the instructions of the Chief Justice of the Patna High Court, the case was included in the special hearing at around 7pm.

The judge in charge of the district and conference, Madubani, brought the matter to the attention of the High Court. The senior police officer was tight-lipped about the incident.

She compared Shah Rukh Khan’s films to Pathaan, Queen, and Manikarnika, noting that if she had a flop in Emergency, it would be a big hit. Kangana compared her career to Shah Rukh Khan, who had consecutive flops for ten years. She also mentioned that she had not had a single hit for 7-8 years before Queen, but after that, she had a few good movies.

The last generation of stars, known for their talent and demand, are now able to showcase their talents more through OTT.
