Yuvika later clarified that she did not know what the word meant. Talking to the paparazzi on Thursday, Prince said about this controversy that neither he nor his wife is casteist.

Prince said, ‘People make a fuss over small things and important things are ignored. They don’t even know in what context this word is used. We don’t believe in casteism. I am Punjabi. Yuvika is Jaat, if there was casteism, we would not have been able to get married.

Haryana Police has registered an FIR against Yuvika Chaudhary. FIR has been registered against her under the Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribe Act. A complaint has been filed against her by Dalit Right Activist Rajan.

In his complaint, Dalit rights activist Rajat Kalsan alleged that the actress made some derogatory and objectionable remarks about the Scheduled Caste community in the video, a copy of which he handed over to the police.

Yuvika has apologized on Twitter and said that she did not know the meaning of this word. Yuvika says, “First of all, with folded hands, I apologize. I did not know the meaning of that word. Forgive me. I have made a mistake unintentionally.”
