‘What if I write it about their mother, sister,’ Arjun Kapoor says after being trolled

Arjun Kapoor has previously responded to trolls who have criticised him for his body type, love life, and other issues. He reacted angrily to the trolls who target his family in a recent interview. Arjun is a member of a Bollywood celebrity family. His father, filmmaker Boney Kapoor, and half-sisters, Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor, are both actors. He’s also dating Malaika Arora, and when they announced their relationship, they were mocked for their age difference.

When asked about the trolls who have attacked his family and girlfriend, Arjun explained that they are easy targets because they are public figures. He also stated that the trolls will never be able to attack him if they stand in front of him because he will be able to return the item.

“It reveals their upbringing,” he told ETimes. It demonstrates their thought process as well as their character. It has no negative ramifications for me. It makes them look bad. They will eventually be able to hide behind anonymous facades, because they are aware of who they are… They’re pretending to live a normal life and typing to vent their anger. You must also realise that there is a great deal of anxiety in this country about a variety of issues, and we are easy prey… It will be talked about in society if I go to your (trolls) building and write something negative about you on your notice board. Consider how you’d feel if I wrote similar things about you when you write about me. So, when you write such things about me, consider how you’d feel if I wrote similar things on your notice board about your mother, sister, daughter, or any other family member.”

Arjun went on to say, “Consider what people like us have to deal with. I have a very thick skin. Because of me, my family members have had to go through it. My sister (Anshula Kapoor) had to bear the brunt of my celebrity as Arjun Kapoor. It isn’t her fault at all. I don’t mind people having opinions, but when they become personal, I believe they should reflect and consider the fact that they would not be able to deal with it if I had the ability. They will not come and stand in front of me if I stand up in front of them and talk… People are simply having a good time at the expense of Bollywood.”

Arjun’s next film is Kuttey, which also features Tabu, Naseeruddin Shah, Radhika Madan, and Konkana Sen Sharma. Along with Disha Patani, Tara Sutaria, and John Abraham, he will be seen in Ek Villain Returns. He is currently collaborating with Bhumi Pednekar on The Lady Killer.
