WhatsApp users can now join ongoing calls right straight from their group chats

WhatsApp announced more features that can be added to the call function. This is one of the most important features added by messaging apps because it provides users with room to join an ongoing call after the call has started. The new feature of this feature enables users to call WhatsApp groups and join from the group chat window. Users will now see a dedicated button near the group chat icon.

“Today, we are enhancing the experience of joining calls through integration with group chats. Therefore, now that group calls are related to your group chat, you can easily join directly from the chat tab. As group calls become more Popular, the integrated call function provides WhatsApp users with a new spontaneous way to connect with family and friends in groups,” WhatsApp said in a statement.

If someone misses a call, the new feature will eliminate the need to disconnect and make the call again. Users can join an ongoing event at any time. WhatsApp stated that users can join the calling WhatsApp group and join the call directly from the group chat. The notification will display the group name instead of the participant name. However, only people who belong to the group can join the call.

The call will be displayed in the chat list, so people can immediately see which groups are in a call after opening the app. WhatsApp assigned a lighter unique ringtone. Make it feel as easy as sending and receiving messages. WhatsApp has previously introduced the ability to join group calls, even after it started.

This obviously means that you don’t have to join immediately after the call starts, you can join the call at any time. WhatsApp also introduced a call information screen, so you can see who is already on the call and who has been invited but has not yet joined. And, if you click “Ignore”, you can join later from the call tab of WhatsApp.

Surfaces of the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra with Snapdragon 8S Gen 3

Early this week, renders of the Edge 50 Fusion appeared, and Motorola has previously stated that the Edge 50 Pro will ship on April 3. The highest-end smartphone in the Edge 50 series, the Edge 50 Ultra, has now been shown in renders.

The phone is depicted in the renderings in peach fuzz and black with a vegan leather finish, while sisal, a beige color, will have a brushed surface. As opposed to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 in the Pro variant and the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 in the Edge 50 Fusion, the phone is reportedly powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC.

A 50MP primary camera, an ultra-wide camera, and a periscope telephoto camera with a 5x optical zoom are all included in the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra’s feature set. Additionally, there is a triple LED flash on the right side and a laser autofocus feature above the periscope lens.

Although the phone’s display, battery, and charging specifications are yet unknown, the Edge 50 Pro is said to include 12GB of RAM and support both 50W and 125W wired and wireless charging.
