When Aamir Khan was still married to his first wife, Reena Dutta, Kiran Rao denied dating him. Many people hold that opinion

Although it is believed that Kiran Rao was the reason behind Aamir Khan’s divorce from Reena Dutta, Kiran Rao has stated that her romance with the actor “absolutely didn’t” start while they were working together on Lagaan (2001). During Aamir’s work on Mangal Pandey, Kiran explained in an interview with Zoom that she first started dating him while helping Ashutosh Gowariker with the film Swades (2004).

Despite popular belief that she was the other lady, Kiran Rao maintains that she did not end Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta’s marriage.

“A lot of people think that Aamir and I connected on Lagaan, but we definitely didn’t,” Kiran Rao stated. During Swades, Aamir and I got together; at the time, he was shooting Mangal Pandey. It was during the filming of a few Coke ads starring Ashutosh Gowariker that Aamir and I got back together. 4–5 years following Lagaan. I had not heard from him. In reality, I didn’t really talk to him much on Lagaan. During Lagaan, I was actually seeing someone else. Everyone assumed that because Aamir and I started dating in 2004, it was because we were filming Lagaan that we got divorced, even though that was not the case.

She discloses that she and Aamir began dating following his divorce.

A year after Lagaan’s debut, Aamir and Reena Dutta called it quits on their marriage in 2002. Kiran continued, “When you marry someone who has been in another relationship, there is baggage that you bring that will affect your relationship,” in reference to the couple therapy sessions she and Aamir attended after getting married. I heartily endorse a couple’s therapy. I attended couple’s counseling with Aamir. It becomes a safe space where you can discuss your wants and how you see the other person, and I found that to be really helpful. The fact that Aamir and I both agreed that we must always be truthful with one another helped.

Aamir and Kiran got married in 2005, and in 2021 they declared their separation. Aamir co-produced Kiran’s second film, Laapataa Ladies, which was just released. Their son Azad was born in December 2011, and they are still co-parenting him. From his first marriage to Reena, Aamir has two children: Ira Khan and Junaid Khan.

Family Star review

The Hindustan Times’ review of the movie Family Star, starring Vijay Deverakonda and directed by Parasuram Petla, suggests that the film struggles to make a mark or entertain, with issues reminiscent of Geetha Govindam (2018). The film tests patience and fails to maintain interest as it progresses.

The review criticizes the plot of Family Star, stating that it is thin and defies logic, making it difficult to enjoy. It also suggests that the film’s portrayal of middle-class life is caricaturish, as if it was written by someone unfamiliar with the realities of such a life.
