‘In the days to come…’: PM remembers Rawat, others who died in chopper crash

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Saturday that the entire country has witnessed the hard work done by India’s first Chief of Defense Staff, General Biping Rawat, to make the country’s security forces self-reliant. Prime Minister Modi expressed condolences to the families of all the victims who lost their lives in the helicopter crash in Tamil Nadu on Wednesday. He said that the death of General Biping Rawat is the loss of every patriot.

Referring to the efforts made by General Rawat to strengthen coordination between the Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force, the Prime Minister promised that the movement will continue to advance rapidly so that the security forces will become “Aatmanirbhar”.

“No matter where General Bipingrawat is, in the days to come, he will see India move forward with new resolutions,” the prime minister said.

“India is mourning. Although we are in pain, we have neither stopped nor stopped developing. India will not stop. India will not stand still. We Indians will work hard together to face everyone at home and abroad. Challenge,” he added. Prime Minister Modi delivered a speech at the launch ceremony of the Saryu Nahar National Project worth 9,800 crore in Barrampur, Uttar Pradesh. The Prime Minister provided updated information on the health of the only survivor of the helicopter crash. He said that doctors are working hard to save the life of Captain Valensinger.

“I pray to Maa Pateshwari to save his life. The country stands with his family. The country stands with the families who lost these brave soldiers,” he said.

Earlier today, Prime Minister Modi checked the model of the Saryu Nahar National Project before launch. The project involves the interconnection of five rivers-Ghaghara, Saryu, Rapti, Banganga and Rohini, and is expected to provide irrigation water for more than 1.4 million hectares and benefit approximately 2.9 million farmers in more than 6,200 villages

Bigg Boss 18: Digvijay Rathee was declared ‘Time God’ by Bigg Boss for the new week. Vivian Dsena and Avinash Mishra rebelled by saying they won’t do the work.

Bigg Boss 18: Digvijay Rathee was given the title of ‘Time God’ after Rajat Dalal. But as the new teaser promo from the upcoming episode of the Salman Khan-hosted show indicated, this did not sit well with some of the other contestants who protested and said that they will not take his orders and refused to do the chores. In the teaser, Bigg Boss informs the rest of the contestants that Digvijay has been named as the Time God for the week. He was seen assigning duties to the rest of the contestants in the garden area. At this point, Vivian revolted and said, “I’m used to settling scores. As long as you’re the Time God, I won’t do any work. It is my duty so I am open to do whatever I want.” Then Avinash added that he will also not do the work.

In the end, a clash broke out between Digvijay and Vivian near the kitchen area, when the latter tried to make food for himself. As per Digvijay, if they are not doing the assigned duties then they will not receive their share of the food. When Vivian tried to make some suji for himself, Digvijay came in between and snatched the packet, spilling most of the food on the floor. Vivian looked angry at this incident, even as the rest of the contestants looked on at the verbal spat between the two.

This week, the contestants who were nominated for elimination are Vivian Dsena, Chahat Pandey, Avinash Mishra, Karan Veer Mehra, Digvijay Rathee, Kashish Kapoor and Alice Kaushik. Digvijay got the opportunity to save Kashish from elimination.
