Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra render confirms yet again that it’s basically a Galaxy Note

We are very close to the official release of the Galaxy S22 series. These phones may arrive in February, but the first batch of renderings and even real-time images of the Galaxy S22 Ultra have already appeared on the Internet. We also caught a glimpse of some media renderings of the S22 Plus and S22 Ultra. Now we see the official product rendering of Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra for the first time, and it seems to confirm what we already know-it is the spiritual successor of the Galaxy Note series.

This rendering was shared by Evan Blass of @evleaks and seems to confirm a lot of what we already know. When it came to OnLeaks’ initial rendering of how the cameras were arranged, there was initially some confusion, although this was later clarified, which confirmed that each lens was separated on the back. We can also see the addition of S-Pen. Unlike the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, this time it seems to be docked inside the phone. In this regard, this is definitely the true successor to the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, because it is no different from the actual Note series devices.

The display looks similar to the Note 20 Ultra, with curved edges on the sides and a boxy design like the Note series. The camera module is also expected to be improved. In addition, we expect the display of the S22 Ultra to be similar to the display on the S21 Ultra: a 120Hz LTPO AMOLED panel with QHD+ resolution.

We expect that the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra in the US will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, but we generally expect Exynos 2200 SoC in other markets around the world, including the UK, EU and India. However, some reports still point to India getting Snapdragon chips instead of Exynos chips. The Exynos 2200 chip may bring some much-needed improvements to the GPU department, and the company has teased these improvements on social media.

All speculation aside, we don’t have much to wait. Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will be launched in early January, and then the Galaxy S22 series will move forward at full speed.
