Dangerous to suggest that Omicron is mild, says WHO

Maria Van Kerkhove, an infectious disease epidemiologist and WHO technical leader for Covid-19, said: “Yes, an overly simplistic narrative can be dangerous. Although we think the risk of hospitalization is lower compared to Delta, it implies Omicron It is “just a mild” disease that is dangerous. The case is shocking even if the risk is low. We will see hospitals overwhelmed. Please be careful.” The WHO has repeatedly warned governments to strengthen measures to respond to changes from Omicron. There has been a surge in new coronavirus cases caused by humans. Earlier, it also warned of the Covid tsunami and requested cancellation of events and gatherings.

According to the report, Gurucharan Singh informed the police officers that he was on a religious trip and had left his worldly life behind during the interview. The actor has visited gurudwaras in a number of towns recently, including Amritsar and Ludhiana. But later on, he felt he ought to go back home.
