Honey Singh asked to submit voice sample by Nagpur court in obscene song case
A district court in Nagpur, Maharashtra, has instructed singer Yo Yo Honey Singh to appear at the local police station to submit a sample of his voice that was linked to singing and uploading an alleged vulgar song against him on the internet And the registered cases are related.
In 2015, an Anandpal Singh Jabbal registered a case against Honey Singh for the song, according to PTI. However, no song was specified in the complaint. According to the complaint, the singer was booked under Sections 292, 293 (obscene) of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 67, 67A of the Information Technology Act.
He was granted bail by the Sessions Court in Nagpur in October 2015, subject to certain conditions.
On January 27, District and Additional Session Judge SASM Ali directed the singer-rapper to appear at the Panchpaoli Police Station in Nagpur between February 4 and February 11. The court is hearing the singer’s bid to seek relaxation of his travel abroad.
The court also directed him to record a voice sample in response to his application for a relaxation of the bail conditions imposed on him.
His application was opposed by the case investigator, who said the singer was supposed to show up at the police station on Jan. 25, but he did not show up and was told in an email that he could not do so. Investigators claim the singer did not cooperate with the investigation and may not remain in court if he was allowed to travel.
The court granted his application after Honey Singh assured the court that he was willing to submit speech samples. While the singer was allowed to travel to Dubai between January 29 and February 4, the court ordered him to appear at the police station between February 4 and 11.

Back in May this year, Sonakshi Sinha made an appearance on Kapil Sharma’s comedy show to promote her web series Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. The actor was joined by her co-stars Manisha Koirala, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Sheikh and Sharmin Segal. During this episode, Kapil told Sonakshi that her fellow Bollywood divas Alia Bhatt and Kiara Advani are now married. Hearing this, Sonakshi claimed that Kapil is rubbing salt in her wounds because he knows how eager she is to get married. Sonkashi’s wish was granted a month later when she tied the knot with Zaheer Iqbal. Well, she is now returning to Kapil’s show, this time with her husband.
In the trailer of the upcoming episode, Sonakshi introduces Zaheer to Kapil in a hilarious way. She claims that anyone who wants to get married should come to Kapil’s show and call him ‘bhaiya’. Gesturing at Zaheer, Sonakshi then tells Kapil, “Bhaiya, meet my saiyyan.” Well, things get even more fun when Sonakshi’s superstar father Shatrughan Sinha joins them along with her mother Poonam Sinha. This is the first time the entire Sinha family and their new son-in-law have appeared together on national television. At the end of this trailer, Shatrughan describes himself as ‘bhola bhala, shareef aadmi’. But Poonam leaves everyone in splits when she replies, “Mujhse poocho.”
In another fun bit, Shatrughan reveals how Dharmendra once told him to always be ‘a one woman man, at a time’. Well, fans can’t keep calm and are now expressing their excitement in the comment section below. For instance, one social media user gushed, “So happy they’re gonna be on the show! ❤️❤️❤️❤️,” whereas another Sonakshi-Zaheer fan claimed, “This episode is a slap to people who were saying that Shatrughan was not happy with Sonakshi and Zaheer’s marriage.”
