No Need To Visit Paris For Disneyland

A trip to Disneyland is a dream of everyone. But it is not possible for every person to afford the prices or to visit abroad. but what if this dream come true? Get ready to meet with your favorite Disney characters here in India.

If everything goes according to the plan of our  Indian tourism department then India may get its very own Disneyland and a new holiday spot will be added to our list. The happiest and the most beautiful place on earth is waiting for the Go-Ahead from the Tourism Board of India

Gurleen Kaur, vice-president, infrastructure development corporation, tourism department. Said:

 “We need consolidated land for an integrated theme park. We are hoping to attract private investors to take up the project under public-private partnership. The investors’ meet at the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) summit in Bengaluru is a platform through which we can come across interested parties,”

A California like Disney Theme Park would cost Rs.100 crore and around 800-1000 acres of land is required. The suggested locations are either Devanahalli or  Bengaluru-Tumakuru road. But the project is still under planning, and if it happens then this might be the biggest theme park in the country.

Private investors are being lured to join hand in hand so as to collaborate and make this dream come true. Let’s just hope this project comes into live, and obviously one more reason to celebrate traveling in India.

Trevi Fountain traditions paused for tourists: Rome introduces elevated walkway for a unique viewing experience

Tourists in Rome won’t be allowed to toss coins over their shoulders into the Trevi Fountain, following tradition, though an elevated walkway now gives limited access to the monument during maintenance work.

Rome Mayor Roberto Gualtieri inaugurated the steel walkway on Saturday, saying it will provide tourists with a close-up view of the fountain and calling it a “unique experience” that won’t be ruined by overcrowding.

The walkway over the fountain’s basin will be able to accommodate about 130 people at a time.

But tourists won’t be allowed to toss coins from there, as the fountain is currently drained, and could face a 50-euro fine if they do, the mayor warned.

City lore has it that tossing a coin into the Baroque fountain will ensure a return trip to Rome.

Gualtieri said a small pool has been set up next to the walkway to collect the coins, which are donated to the Caritas charity to fund meals for people in need.

The walkway will remain until the end of the maintenance work, which is expected to finish by year’s end.

Rome city officials are devising a plan to block off the area around the fountain. Under the plan, visitors will be required to book online and pay 2 euros ($2.20). Once inside, they will have 30 minutes to enjoy the fountain.
