At a function, Taapsee Pannu rips into a reporter, saying, “Phir bolege actors ko tameez nahi hai.”
The OTT Play Awards 2022 were recently attended by actor Taapsee Pannu. When a paparazzo mentioned her movie Dobaaraa and informed her that the critics had given it poor reviews, she raged at them and advised them to conduct their research before asking her these questions at the red carpet media engagement.
Taapsee is heard ordering the media to “tameez nahi hai” (don’t yell) in a video that has been circulated online. When questioned by a reporter about the supposed “negative campaign” against her most recent movie, Dobaaraa, Taapsee responded, “Then you’ll claim actors have horrible manners.”
She responded by posing the question, “Which film did not face it? (“Kis film ke against nahi chalaya gaya”)?” She interjected and remarked, “Aap mere baat ka jawab dijiye, main aapke sawal ka jawab de dungi,” when the journalist continued to interrogate her. film ke saath nahi chalaya gaya kaunsi? (You respond to my query, and I respond to yours. Tell me which film did not encounter it).”
The journalist continued by asserting that the movie was the target of a vicious attack from critics. Taapsee said, “Ek baar thoda sa homework kar lena question pooch lene se pehle,” upon hearing this (Please do your homework before asking any question). ” “Actors’ ko tameez nahi hai, chillao mat,” “Phir yeh log bolte hai (These people then claim that performers lack manners.
One supporter said, “Sahi jawab diya (She answered correctly)” Another person said, “Don’t make movies if you can’t handle the criticism.” One questioned, “Why is she always so angry?”
Dobaaraa, a time-travel-themed sci-fi thriller film directed by Anurag Kashyap, with Taapsee and Pavail Gulati in the key characters. After being offended by his impersonation of Karan Johar, comedian Kettan Singh apologises, saying, “Didn’t want to hurt.”
Kettan Singh apologised to director Karan Johar on social media after the latter called him out.
After seeing a video of Kettan Singh making fun of him, Karan Johar became irate.
On Sunday night, filmmaker Karan Johar expressed his dissatisfaction with a TV programme advertising in a rare Instagram post. Without naming the show, the comedian, or the station, Karan claimed to have seen a comic make fun of him in an awkward way. Many speculated that Karan was referring to the trailer for Kettan Singh’s Madness Machaenge. Now, the comedian has addressed Karan’s critique.
Kettan’s regret
In an interview with Times Now, Kettan stated that his goal had never been to harm Karan. “I want to apologise to Sir Karan Johar. First of all, I am a fan of Karan Johar’s work and perform all of my impersonations since I see him a lot on the coffee programme. I’ve seen Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, his most recent movie, five or six times. I adore his presentation and his body of work. I want to apologise to him if my actions caused him any harm. I didn’t mean to do him any harm. I just intended to amuse the crowd, but if I went above and beyond, I apologise to him.”
Karan most likely only saw the promo and not the entire programme, according to Kettan. “After seeing the episode, I’d want to see how people and Karan sir respond. I hope not to insult you, sir. Not many artists imitate Karan, sir. A few years back, I used to do it on The Kapil Sharma Show. It was my first time doing it on Madness Machayenge. He answered, “Aside from my apologies, I have nothing else on my mind.
The post by Karan Johar
“I was sitting and watching television with my mum… and saw a promo of a reality comedy show on a supposedly respectable channel… a comic was mimicking me in exceptionally poor taste,” captioned Karan Johar’s Instagram post. I anticipate this from trolls and anonymous individuals, but it says volumes about the times we live in when someone in your own field can treat someone who has over 25 years of experience with disdain. This doesn’t even enrage me; it simply makes me sad.”
