Abhidnya Bhave reminisces about her husband’s battle with cancer: It was terrible
Abhidnya Bhave, an actor, has not had the best year. In 2021, she wed her longtime partner Mehul Pai, and instead of enjoying a honeymoon period, everything revolved around doctor appointments. In December of last year, Pai’s cancer was discovered, and the pair has been battling it ever since.
Asking how she made it through these months, she replies, “I wouldn’t say we made it through, but we lived every day. It was a period when people began to realise the value of life. We live in a very materialistic culture where materialistic goods are highly valued, but I believe you have a good understanding of what you actually want from life and what material things don’t important to you. They don’t make you happy. It has begun a voyage within. We now have the opportunity to examine our lives and how we are acting.
Finding out that your newlywed husband has such a serious illness may be, to put it mildly, devastating. Bhave acknowledges, “It was awful.” It was dreadful since you wouldn’t even imagine such a thing, she continues. It was so bad physically that I had no words to describe how I felt. It was absolutely scary. I believe it broke me in a manner that made me realise just how much I had stopped being thankful for even the most insignificant possessions. It put our way of thinking, optimism, and faith to the test. That being stated, it even destroyed my faith in God.
The Lagori – Maitri Returns and Tula Pahate Re actor acknowledges via reflection that Pai’s cancer treatment strengthened their relationship and brought them much closer. Pai is now cancer-free. We inhabit a delicate planet. I believe that the interactions we observe in the world are genuinely shaped by society, or perhaps even by materialism. All of these things don’t effect me at all because I believe that our love for one another is growing.

The Telugu film Family Star, directed by Parasuram Petla, has collected an estimated ₹5.75 crore nett in India on its first day of box office collection, marking an impressive opening day for the film.
Family Star reported a 38.45% Telugu occupancy on day 1, with Warangal having the highest occupancy (57.5%), followed by Visakhapatnam and Kakinada (56.75% each).
About Family Star
Parasuram Petla’s Family Star marks Vijay and Mrunal’s first collaboration, featuring a cast including Abhinaya, Vasuki, Rohini Hattangadi, Ravi Babu, and Divyansha Kaushik’s special appearance.
Govardhan Rao, the youngest brother of Vijay, manages his family’s finances while being cautious. However, when Mrunal’s Indu rents a part of his home, his life changes.
