Amitabh Bachchan resumes work after last night’s Covid test was “negative”

Amitabh Bachchan has finally started working again after a nine-day hiatus. The 79-year-old actor had already tested positive for the new coronavirus. He gave the most recent information regarding his return to work on Thursday morning.

Around 8:40 a.m. on Thursday, Amitabh posted on his blog, “Back at work.. your prayers (folded hands emojis) gratitude.. negative last night.. and 9 days isolation over.. mandatory is 7 days.. My love as always to everyone. You are thoughtful and considerate throughout. The family Ef is so full of care.

The quiz reality TV programme Kaun Banega Crorepati’s 14th season is currently hosted by the actor. In a social media post, he expressed concern for his obligations to his employer, writing: “The sudden issues of the work front and their adjustments, if at all they can be, of how to catch up with lost time, especially in the matter of the TV programme which, as we are well aware, takes an enormous amount of time and energy to coordinate and set up.”

On August 23, late at night, the actor sent a message on social media announcing his diagnosis. He was being held in his residence. Soon later, he tweeted that he was “disappointed” to have tested positive for the virus once more.

Together with his son Abhishek Bachchan, daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai, and granddaughter Aaradhya Bachchan, he had tested positive for the coronavirus in July 2020.

“Yes, despite all the precautions and the dosage for its avoidance. The injections one and two and the booster thereafter. The care to avoid being in the presence of the public realm. To say that I’m disappointed would be an understatement; what really bothers me is the worry I cause for individuals who are close to and dear to me.

Amitabh Bachchan, who has a significant role in Brahmastra Part One: Shiva, is also anticipating its release. He also has a movie called Goodbye in production and has already filmed for Sooraj Barjatya’s Uunchai.

Family Star review

The Hindustan Times’ review of the movie Family Star, starring Vijay Deverakonda and directed by Parasuram Petla, suggests that the film struggles to make a mark or entertain, with issues reminiscent of Geetha Govindam (2018). The film tests patience and fails to maintain interest as it progresses.

The review criticizes the plot of Family Star, stating that it is thin and defies logic, making it difficult to enjoy. It also suggests that the film’s portrayal of middle-class life is caricaturish, as if it was written by someone unfamiliar with the realities of such a life.
