Bigg Boss 16 teaser: Salman Khan returns as host, shares information of new season

Actor Salman Khan revealed a fresh trailer for the forthcoming season of the reality series Bigg Boss. With the 16th season of the programme, the actor will return as the host. Salman Khan gave indications about the upcoming season in the teaser trailer, which ColorsTV released on its Instagram account.

The opening narration of the clip stated that Bigg Boss had seen every game played over the last 15 years. The video included Tanishaa Mukerji, late Sidharth Shukla, Hina Khan, Shehnaaz Gill, Shilpa Shinde, and Gauahar Khan in their respective seasons. “This time Bigg Boss will exhibit his own game,” it added.

Salman then went inside a run-down home that was coated in dust and heaps of broken items. Salman stated, “This time Bigg Boss will play,” as the narrator discussed how things will be different this season.

Watch #BiggBoss16 soon, only on Colors! was the caption that was added to the video, along with the hashtags BB 16, Bigg Boss, and tagged Salman. “In these 15 years, everyone played their own game, but this time, Bigg Boss will play,” was also added to the video.

Actor Gauahar Khan responded to the post by writing, “Yassssss biggboss (fire emoji).” Fans also expressed enthusiasm for the next season. “So thrilled for Bigg Boss16,” someone wrote.

On the Dutch reality programme Big Brother, Bigg Boss is based. Arshad Warsi served as the host of the inaugural season, which broadcast on Sony TV in 2006. In the second season, Shilpa Shetty took over as host in place of Arshad. For its third season, Amitabh Bachchan served as the show’s host. Salman has been hosting the programme since then.

Despite the fact that the candidates’ names have not yet been made public, actors Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen, who is also an actor, have admitted that they were approached about participating in the programme. Charu stated, “Yes, I have been called by the producers for the future season (of Bigg Boss), but I have no idea about Rajeev,” in a recent interview with Time of India. Having said that, I have no objections about performing on stage alongside him. Labor is labour.

They have only been interested in me up till now, Rajeev had stated. They never mentioned Charu, and my relatives and friends had different opinions regarding Bigg Boss. Let’s thus watch how things turn out. I’m still considering the offer.
