Covid vaccination for teens: These 5 states have administered most shots so far

According to data released by the Federal Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of India, so far, more than 10 million people aged 15-17 in India have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine. These numbers are the latest updates to the drive that was launched on January 3 three days ago.

In the past 24 hours, as many as 40,80,263 adolescents have been vaccinated. Following the latest increase, the country’s overall vaccination coverage rate for children aged 15-17 has reached 1,27,60,148.

On Wednesday, Federal Minister of Health Mansukh Mandaviya praised the achievement after praising “the enthusiasm of young Indians for vaccination” on Twitter.

Since the start of the operation, some states have vaccinated more than 100,000 teenagers, and some states have vaccinated 1 million people aged 15-17. Fight against the highly contagious variant of Omicron, which was first discovered in South Africa and has been classified as a “variant of concern” by the World Health Organization (WHO). So far, India has confirmed 2,630 new strains, and Maharashtra and Delhi are still the most affected areas.

In addition, during the Omicron outbreak, India has witnessed high single-day Covid-19 cases in the past few weeks. On Thursday, the country recorded 90,928 new cases, up from 58,097 the day before and an increase of 56.5% in 24 hours.

She compared Shah Rukh Khan’s films to Pathaan, Queen, and Manikarnika, noting that if she had a flop in Emergency, it would be a big hit. Kangana compared her career to Shah Rukh Khan, who had consecutive flops for ten years. She also mentioned that she had not had a single hit for 7-8 years before Queen, but after that, she had a few good movies.
