On Netflix, a wedding documentary starring Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan will be available. On June 9, the pair exchanged vows in Chennai in front of a large celebrity guest list that included Rajinikanth and Shah Rukh Khan.
On June 9, in Chennai, actor Nayanthara and director Vignesh Shivan were wed in a romantic ceremony. Only their closest friends and a few other guests, such as Shah Rukh Khan, AR Rahman, Suriya, and Rajinikanth, attended the little wedding. Nayanthara’s path to the fantasy wedding will be the subject of a documentary that will shortly show on Netflix India. The documentary was made by Rowdy Pictures and directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon.
Viewers will get a peek of Nayanthara and Vignesh’s love story in this untitled documentary, which ended in an extraordinary wedding at a resort in Mahabalipuram, close to Chennai. “We are the home for unscripted content that is original and fascinating and has the capacity to connect with fans in India and beyond,” said Tanya Bami, Series Head, Netflix India.
“Nayanthara has had a career spanning nearly 20 years and has been a great superstar. We can’t wait for our members to finally experience Nayanthara’s journey that lead to her dream wedding with Vignesh thanks to our incredible creative partners, filmmaker Gautam Vasudevan and Rowdy Pictures “Tanya tacked on.
Nayanthara’s followers tweeted about the news, saying it was going to be really special. An admirer predicted that “this is going to be a highly remarkable and poignant narrative of an outstanding super woman.” Another supporter expressed her excitement and sent heart emojis. The original intention was for the wedding to occur at Tirupati. Vignesh Shivan had disclosed in a news conference in June that the proposal had to be abandoned due to logistical problems.
Actor Shah Rukh Khan was among the first few high-profile guests to arrive at the ceremony amid the many others. Nayanthara makes her Bollywood debut with Atlee’s Jawan, which is now under production, opposite Shah Rukh.

Family Star reported a 38.45% Telugu occupancy on day 1, with Warangal having the highest occupancy (57.5%), followed by Visakhapatnam and Kakinada (56.75% each).
About Family Star
Parasuram Petla’s Family Star marks Vijay and Mrunal’s first collaboration, featuring a cast including Abhinaya, Vasuki, Rohini Hattangadi, Ravi Babu, and Divyansha Kaushik’s special appearance.
Govardhan Rao, the youngest brother of Vijay, manages his family’s finances while being cautious. However, when Mrunal’s Indu rents a part of his home, his life changes.
