Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro have been released in India; see prices and details

On Thursday, Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro were launched in India. Both devices will be the first to use Google Photos’ new “Photo Unblur” function. The Tensor SoC is a 4nm chip featuring two Cortex-X1 cores and four Cortex-A55 cores. The Google Pixel 7 has a 6.32-inch full-HD+ (2,400 x 1,080 pixel) OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Eight gigabytes of RAM and an octa-core Tensor G2 SoC power it. The smartphone has internal storage that can go up to 256GB.

There is support for face unlock and an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric verification. Extreme Battery Saver mode is said to extend battery life to up to 72 hours. The Google Pixel 7 has a dual rear camera configuration with a 50MP primary sensor and 12MP secondary sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens. When capturing movies on the Pixel 7, the new “Cinematic Blur” feature offers a dramatic blur effect, according to the firm.

The Google Pixel 7 Pro has a larger 6.7-inch Quad-HD (3,120 x 1,440 pixels) LTPO OLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. There is support for face unlock and an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric verification.

The Google Pixel 7 Pro has a 12MP secondary sensor and a 48MP telephoto lens with 30x Super Resolution Zoom and 5x optical zoom. On October 13, Flipkart in India will begin selling both phones for Rs 59,999 and Rs 84,999.

Surfaces of the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra with Snapdragon 8S Gen 3

Early this week, renders of the Edge 50 Fusion appeared, and Motorola has previously stated that the Edge 50 Pro will ship on April 3. The highest-end smartphone in the Edge 50 series, the Edge 50 Ultra, has now been shown in renders.

The phone is depicted in the renderings in peach fuzz and black with a vegan leather finish, while sisal, a beige color, will have a brushed surface. As opposed to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 in the Pro variant and the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 in the Edge 50 Fusion, the phone is reportedly powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC.

A 50MP primary camera, an ultra-wide camera, and a periscope telephoto camera with a 5x optical zoom are all included in the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra’s feature set. Additionally, there is a triple LED flash on the right side and a laser autofocus feature above the periscope lens.

Although the phone’s display, battery, and charging specifications are yet unknown, the Edge 50 Pro is said to include 12GB of RAM and support both 50W and 125W wired and wireless charging.

It is anticipated that this will launch as the Motorola X50 Ultra in China. It is unclear if the India launch may be expected on the same day as the rest of the Edge 50 series phones, even if this is scheduled to go official on April 3.
