High BP, hypertension control tips for couples planning to conceive in Covid-19

During frequent Covid-19 lockdowns, due to unhealthy eating patterns and increased stress levels, the prevalence of high blood pressure has increased across all age groups, and maintaining high or high blood pressure is now more important than ever important. It is a lifestyle disease that is affecting more than 30% of adults worldwide or more than 1 billion people worldwide, especially during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

High stress levels, obesity, a sedentary lifestyle and poor eating habits are some of the leading causes of high blood pressure in young adults. Long-term high blood pressure, also known as hypertension, is a major risk factor for serious conditions such as coronary artery disease, stroke, heart failure, atrial fibrillation, vision loss, chronic kidney disease and even dementia.

High blood pressure or high blood pressure has become a serious problem due to our lifestyle and our preference for junk food, irregular sleep patterns and stress being the main cause of this chronic disease. Dr Deepak Verma, Consultant Internal Medicine, Columbia Asia Hospital, Ghaziabad, shared, “The rise in hypertension among young adults, especially in urban areas, is worrying and is of great concern for two reasons – a) uncontrolled high blood pressure can have fatal consequences such as heart attack or stroke; b) it is a preventable lifestyle disease that makes people more susceptible to Covid-19 regardless of age.”

Kangana Ranaut has denied speculations about joining politics solely due to the box office failure of her films.

Kangana Ranaut, the BJP’s Lok Sabha candidate from Mandi for the 2024 elections, expressed gratitude towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi for her political entrance. In an interview with Times Now, she questioned whether she joined politics due to her movies’ poor box office performance, comparing it to Shah Rukh Khan’s previous unsuccessful films.

Kangana responded to a question about her career, stating that she has never had a flop. She compared Shah Rukh Khan’s films to Pathaan, Queen, and Manikarnika, noting that if she had a flop in Emergency, it would be a big hit. Kangana compared her career to Shah Rukh Khan, who had consecutive flops for ten years. She also mentioned that she had not had a single hit for 7-8 years before Queen, but after that, she had a few good movies.

No stars from OTT?

The last generation of stars, known for their talent and demand, are now able to showcase their talents more through OTT. However, the author expresses a desire to involve themselves more with the real world, rather than being consumed by the arts, stating that they are not satisfied with the current status quo.
