In a BTS video, Alia Bhatt shows off her moodboard for the MET Gala.

At the Met Gala on Monday, Alia Bhatt was one of the celebs with the nicest outfits. This is what transpired in the hours leading up to her red carpet debut.

Not only does raising a child require a village, but preparing a Bollywood star for the MET Gala also requires. A behind-the-scenes video of Alia Bhatt getting ready for the MET Gala in her hotel room was released by Vogue magazine on Monday night. It depicts her getting ready, doing cosmetics and hair, draping the saree, and explaining the motivation behind her appearance.

What is shown in the film?

After nine years of collaboration, Alia says in the video about how well Puneet B. Saini, her makeup artist, understands her. She mentioned that when Puneet received the ideal birthday present for Alia, her sister Shaheen Bhatt used to become furious.

The actress donned a Sabyasachi saree that Anaita Shrofff Adajani had fashioned. According to Anaita, the saree had the three components that constituted this year’s gala theme: the blue hue of the sky and water, as well as embroidered flowers representing the land.

The group also displayed the look’s airy, vintage Hollywood, and Parsi cultural inspirations. Alia displayed a picture of the retro hairstyle she intended to wear that evening. She received exactly what she desired from hairstylist Amit Thakur.

Alia’s saree designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee, talked on the distinctiveness of Indian fashion. Alia also remembered her first Teacher’s Day in Class 9 saree experience. She said that by the time she got to school, the pleats on her saree had come undone, so she had to go to the loo to mend them.

2024 Met Gala

An enchanting show of ingenuity was made possible by this year’s Met Gala’s theme, Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion, and its “The Garden of Time” dress code.

Alia Bhatt’s Sabyasachi saree outfit choice was ideal for the theme; it captured the spirit of elegance and timelessness.
