Rashmika Mandanna paired with Salman Khan in Sikandar, directed by AR Murugadoss
Following the tremendous success of Animal, Rashmika Mandanna and Salman Khan will soon be seen together in AR Murugadoss’ upcoming film, Sikandar.
I’m loving Rashmika Mandanna right now. Following Animal’s phenomenal success, the actor has signed on to a new Hindi movie. She is going to be partnered with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan in AR Murugadoss’ action flick Sikandar.
In Sikandar, Rashmika
Rashmika will be working with Salman, the director, and producer Sajid Nadiadwala for the first time. Rashmika, a well-known actor in Tamil and Telugu, debuted in Bollywood in 2022 with the film Goodbye. After that, she starred in Animal and Mission Majnu. In addition, she is preparing for Pushpa: The Rule, starring opposite Allu Arjun in Telugu, and Kubera, starring opposite Dhanush in Tamil. She will also be featured in Chaava, opposite Vicky Kauhsal.
Concerning Sikandar
Salman revealed Sikandar, which would be helmed by AR Murugadoss, on Eid. On Instagram, Salman revealed the title of the movie: “This Eid, ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ and ‘Maidaan’ ko dekho aur agli Eid Sikandar se aa kar Milo.” (This Eid, watch Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Maidaan; meet Sikandar next Eid). Eid Mubarak to all of you!”
The film, which is directed by AR Murugadoss and with the support of Sajid Nadiadwala, will be released in theatres on Eid 2025.
With Ghajini, AR Murugadoss made his Hindi film debut, earning ₹100 crore at the domestic box office. In addition, he directed Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty, starring Akshay Kumar.
Salman has been developing Eid-themed flicks for years. The actor’s 1997 film Judwaa was the first to be released on Eid, and ever since, he has entertained his fans with Eid releases. On the occasion of Eid, a number of his popular films were released, including Dabangg, Bodyguard, Ek Tha Tiger, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Sultan, Bharat, and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.
The event has almost come to be associated with a Salman release. He broke the trend this year, but he nevertheless made sure to add a personal touch to his followers’ Eid celebration by revealing the movie.
Salman’s most recent film appearance was in the box office hit action thriller Tiger 3. The film, which was directed by Maneesh Sharma, featured Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi in the key parts.
