iPhone SE 3, Rumored to Be Launched This Year, Might Be Priced at 0

U.S. tech giant Apple is rumored to be returning with the successor to the second-generation iPhone SE on March 8, when it will also announce an updated iPad Air.

While Apple has yet to confirm the event, analyst John Donovan said the new iPhone SE will start at $300 (~Rs 22,720), according to GSM Arena. That’s $99 ($7,500) off the base price of the iPhone SE (2020).

However, another analyst, Daniel Ives, said that Apple will stick to the base price of $399 (roughly Rs 30,200) without ruling out a price cut.

Dubbed the iPhone SE+ 5G, the new iPhone SE is rumored to feature 5G support, improved cameras and Apple’s A15 Bionic chip, which debuted with the iPhone 13 series last year.

While the iPhone SE+ 5G will feature some improvements over its predecessor, there won’t be any major changes in the design department, as the smartphone is expected to retain the same old iPhone 8 design as 2017, according to GSM Arena.

Some previous rumors have hinted that the next iPhone SE will feature a more modern design. However, the latest rumors about the upcoming phone claim that the iPhone SE 2022 will feature the same design as the iPhone SE 2020, which followed the design of the 2017 iPhone 8.
That’s sure to look out of place in this year’s mobile world, where just about every phone, including those on a budget, opts for a full-screen look.

However, according to GSM Arena, the new iPhone SE will have none of these. However, a nice feature of the iPhone SE 2022 is that it will have 5G built-in.

By 2024, the iPhone SE should have a design reminiscent of the iPhone XR and iPhone 11, with a slightly smaller screen size. It won’t get Face ID, but will reportedly have a Touch ID sensor embedded in the power button.

Surfaces of the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra with Snapdragon 8S Gen 3

Early this week, renders of the Edge 50 Fusion appeared, and Motorola has previously stated that the Edge 50 Pro will ship on April 3. The highest-end smartphone in the Edge 50 series, the Edge 50 Ultra, has now been shown in renders.

The phone is depicted in the renderings in peach fuzz and black with a vegan leather finish, while sisal, a beige color, will have a brushed surface. As opposed to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 in the Pro variant and the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 in the Edge 50 Fusion, the phone is reportedly powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC.

A 50MP primary camera, an ultra-wide camera, and a periscope telephoto camera with a 5x optical zoom are all included in the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra’s feature set. Additionally, there is a triple LED flash on the right side and a laser autofocus feature above the periscope lens.

Although the phone’s display, battery, and charging specifications are yet unknown, the Edge 50 Pro is said to include 12GB of RAM and support both 50W and 125W wired and wireless charging.

It is anticipated that this will launch as the Motorola X50 Ultra in China. It is unclear if the India launch may be expected on the same day as the rest of the Edge 50 series phones, even if this is scheduled to go official on April 3.
