The Minister of Bihar State Jivesh Mishra said that at least 7 workers were killed and 7 people were injured in the explosion of a Muzaffarpur boiler in a noodle factory on Sunday morning, which was “an accident caused by misoperation”.
Mr. Mishra told the news agency ANI on Sunday: “The factory was established in 2020 after meeting all the parameters required to build the factory. The department certified the boiler that exploded in May 2021.”

“At first glance, this incident seems to be caused by an operational error. An investigation has been ordered. Until the investigation is completed, we cannot say anything substantive. The state government has announced that it will provide the family of the deceased with an ex-gratia payment of 400,000 rupees. “He added.

The Minister further informed that he had instructed officials to provide compensation to workers’ families in accordance with the Compensation Law of the Ministry of Labor and Resources. “According to the “Compensation Law” of the Ministry of Labor and Resources, I have instructed officials to provide compensation to the workers’ families after meeting with the factory director. The government will provide treatment for all injured workers.” He said.

Partha Sarathi Deb passed away on Friday, and his remains were taken to Technician’s Studio at 12 pm.

Bengali actor Partha Sarathi Deb, aged 68, passed away at a Kolkata hospital while undergoing treatment, according to his family.

Partha passed away at 11:50 pm on Friday night due to COPD-related ailments. He had been admitted to state-run M R Bangur hospital for the last month, and his condition worsened over the past week, and he was in the ICU.

Actor Jeet expressed sadness over the loss of colleague and WBAF committee member Partha Sarathi Deb on X, sharing a photo and offering condolences to his bereaved family and friends.

Actress Rupanjana Mitra announced the news on Facebook, writing a lengthy note in Bengali.

Partha, the vice president of the West Bengal Motion Picture Artists Forum, condoled the death of actor Amit Shah and announced that his body would be taken to Technician Studio, a familiar place for him.

The forum is deeply saddened by the actor’s passing and will keep his remains at Technician’s Studio on March 23, where his loved ones, teammates, and well-wishers can pay their last respects.
