OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G, OnePlus TV Y1S Series India Launch Today: How to Watch Livestream, Expected Price, More
The OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G was launched in India today alongside the company’s latest smart TV models, the OnePlus TV Y1S and OnePlus TV Y1S Edge. The upcoming smartphone will feature MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC under the hood and, according to OnePlus, will feature a triple-camera setup. Meanwhile, the company is also expected to launch two new smart TV models in the country as part of the company’s affordable Y-series line of smart TVs.
OnePlus is hosting a virtual launch event for the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G smartphone along with the OnePlus TV Y1S and OnePlus TV Y1S Edge smart TV models today at 7:00 PM. The event will be live-streamed on OnePlus India’s YouTube channel and the company’s website, and viewers can also watch the launch live via the video embedded here.
OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G starts at Rs. The base model with 6GB RAM + 128GB storage is 23,999, while the 8GB + 128GB storage variant is likely to be around Rs. 25,999, according to a recent report. The phone is said to be available in Bahamas Blue and Grey mirror color options, and OnePlus recently teased the Bahamas Blue variant of the smartphone on its Twitter account.
The company hasn’t officially revealed any details about the pricing of the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G, which are expected to be revealed at the official launch event.

OnePlus has confirmed that the upcoming OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity SoC. The company has yet to announce RAM and storage options for the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G, but recent leaks suggest that the smartphone will come with up to 8GB of RAM and a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display that should boot at 90Hz refresh rate . HDR 10+ support and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. OnePlus also announced that the smartphone will feature a 3.5mm headphone jack and a dedicated microSD card slot (up to 1TB).
The company showed off the smartphone’s rear design on Twitter, giving customers an idea of what to expect from the smartphone. Judging by the pictures, it appears that the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G will feature a triple rear camera setup, and the company has confirmed that it will feature a 64-megapixel triple camera setup. The phone is also said to feature a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front. OnePlus has also confirmed that the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G will feature 65W SuperVOOC fast charging.

Early this week, renders of the Edge 50 Fusion appeared, and Motorola has previously stated that the Edge 50 Pro will ship on April 3. The highest-end smartphone in the Edge 50 series, the Edge 50 Ultra, has now been shown in renders.
The phone is depicted in the renderings in peach fuzz and black with a vegan leather finish, while sisal, a beige color, will have a brushed surface. As opposed to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 in the Pro variant and the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 in the Edge 50 Fusion, the phone is reportedly powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC.
A 50MP primary camera, an ultra-wide camera, and a periscope telephoto camera with a 5x optical zoom are all included in the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra’s feature set. Additionally, there is a triple LED flash on the right side and a laser autofocus feature above the periscope lens.
Although the phone’s display, battery, and charging specifications are yet unknown, the Edge 50 Pro is said to include 12GB of RAM and support both 50W and 125W wired and wireless charging.
It is anticipated that this will launch as the Motorola X50 Ultra in China. It is unclear if the India launch may be expected on the same day as the rest of the Edge 50 series phones, even if this is scheduled to go official on April 3.
