Pixel 6 Pro Brings Google to Top 10 List in DXOMARK Smartphone Camera Ranking

Google Pixel 6 Pro has passed the DXOMARK camera test, with a total score of 135 points. Pixel 6 Pro ranks sixth in the smartphone rankings, second only to iPhone 13 Pro Max, iPhone 13 Pro and Huawei Mate 40 Pro. The Google Pixel 6 Pro scored 143 for photos, 71 for zoom, and 115 for video clips. Pixel 6 Pro is widely praised for its outstanding details in highlights and indoor images and videos.

It is said to provide good shadow detail and contrast and fast and accurate autofocus in high light and indoor conditions. DXOMARK released a detailed camera evaluation of Google Pixel 6 Pro. The review stated that this phone from Google offers “excellent photo performance and excellent video quality.” It has a new 4x telephoto lens that also performs well in the zoom category.

Pixel 6 Pro leads the iPhone 13 Pro Max in terms of exposure and texture. DXOMARK stated that this camera is very reliable and is a big step forward compared to previous Pixel models that had to rely on smaller sensors and lower processing power. Google Pixel 6 Pro is also appreciated for its excellent details and effective video stabilization in long-distance shooting.

It has good exposure and wide video dynamic range. DXOMARK said that the depth of field effect of Pixel 6 Pro is not very good, and the background subject in the group photo is blurred. The review also found noise in indoor and low-light images, as well as errors and instabilities in depth estimation and bokeh photos.

In addition, it is reported that Pixel 6 Pro does not provide a preview of the bokeh blur effect. The comments pointed out that even the ultra-wide-angle camera is not as wide as its competitors.

Surfaces of the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra with Snapdragon 8S Gen 3

Early this week, renders of the Edge 50 Fusion appeared, and Motorola has previously stated that the Edge 50 Pro will ship on April 3. The highest-end smartphone in the Edge 50 series, the Edge 50 Ultra, has now been shown in renders.

The phone is depicted in the renderings in peach fuzz and black with a vegan leather finish, while sisal, a beige color, will have a brushed surface. As opposed to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 in the Pro variant and the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 in the Edge 50 Fusion, the phone is reportedly powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC.

A 50MP primary camera, an ultra-wide camera, and a periscope telephoto camera with a 5x optical zoom are all included in the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra’s feature set. Additionally, there is a triple LED flash on the right side and a laser autofocus feature above the periscope lens.

Although the phone’s display, battery, and charging specifications are yet unknown, the Edge 50 Pro is said to include 12GB of RAM and support both 50W and 125W wired and wireless charging.

It is anticipated that this will launch as the Motorola X50 Ultra in China. It is unclear if the India launch may be expected on the same day as the rest of the Edge 50 series phones, even if this is scheduled to go official on April 3.
