Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G price announced in India; Sale starts Jan 11

The India price of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G has been confirmed along with the sale date. The device starts at Rs 54,999 and will be available starting tomorrow (January 11). It features a professional-grade camera, the latest Exynos chipset, and is available in four colors.

The Galaxy S21 FE 5G is available in two variants – the base 8GB RAM + 128GB storage option is priced at Rs 54,999. The 8GB RAM + 256GB storage option will cost Rs 58,999. Additionally, HDFC cardholders get a fixed cashback of Rs 5,000 at online retailers such as the official Samsung website Amazon.in and selected retail outlets

The phones feature the signature reverse-cut design and come in four colors – lavender, white, graphite, and olive (which we saw in a Reddit unboxing video late last month).

The Galaxy S21 FE features a 6.4-inch full HD+ AMOLED display (1920 x 1080) that offers a 120Hz refresh rate. The device also comes with AI-based blue light control and a 240Hz touch sampling rate for responsive scrolling. The phone is powered by a 5nm Exynos 2100 processor paired with 8GB of RAM.

It sports a vertical triple-camera setup at the rear, consisting of a flagship-grade 12MP primary sensor, an 8MP telephoto lens, and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera. For selfies and video calls, there’s a 32 MP camera on the front that does dual recording – letting you shoot from the front and back at the same time. The professional-grade camera system also features Portrait Mode, Enhanced Night Mode and 30x Space Zoom for an epic experience.

The device is backed by a 4500mAh battery with support for 25W Super Fast Charging, Wireless Fast Charge 2.0 and Power Share, allowing you to turn your phone into a wireless charger.

Surfaces of the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra with Snapdragon 8S Gen 3

Early this week, renders of the Edge 50 Fusion appeared, and Motorola has previously stated that the Edge 50 Pro will ship on April 3. The highest-end smartphone in the Edge 50 series, the Edge 50 Ultra, has now been shown in renders.

The phone is depicted in the renderings in peach fuzz and black with a vegan leather finish, while sisal, a beige color, will have a brushed surface. As opposed to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 in the Pro variant and the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 in the Edge 50 Fusion, the phone is reportedly powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC.

A 50MP primary camera, an ultra-wide camera, and a periscope telephoto camera with a 5x optical zoom are all included in the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra’s feature set. Additionally, there is a triple LED flash on the right side and a laser autofocus feature above the periscope lens.

Although the phone’s display, battery, and charging specifications are yet unknown, the Edge 50 Pro is said to include 12GB of RAM and support both 50W and 125W wired and wireless charging.

It is anticipated that this will launch as the Motorola X50 Ultra in China. It is unclear if the India launch may be expected on the same day as the rest of the Edge 50 series phones, even if this is scheduled to go official on April 3.
