OnePlus 10 Pro launch event, price, specifications: Everything we know so far
The OnePlus 10 Pro launch is scheduled to take place on January 11 and the company has confirmed some key specifications and features ahead of the event. There is currently no official word on India launch but it is expected in March or April. Meanwhile, here’s everything you need to know about the price, specifications and other details.
Price in China
OnePlus will announce pricing and availability details for the device when it launches in China. However, rumors suggest that the base model will be priced between 3,000 to 3,999 yuan (approximately Rs 35,000 to 46,600). The pricing is too good to be true, and we advise our readers to take it with a pinch of salt.
In terms of variants, the OnePlus 10 Pro will launch in three configurations – 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB, according to the rumor mill. The price of the OnePlus 10 Pro in India is likely to be set at around Rs 60,000.
Full specifications
In comparison, the launch price of the OnePlus 9 Pro in India is set at Rs 64,999. The company has confirmed most of the key OnePlus 10 Pro specs and features just days before launch. The phone will feature a 120Hz Fluid AMOLED display. It is expected to feature a 6.7-inch 2K screen with curved sides and a punch-hole cutout. There will be a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calling.
The phone will feature a triple-camera setup on the back. Earlier this month, the OnePlus 10 Pro camera module design was confirmed. It has a ceramic finish and blends into a metal chassis for a seamless look. The camera module has a 48MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and an 8MP telephoto camera. The rear camera will support optical image stabilization.
Powering the OnePlus 10 Pro is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC based on the 4nm process. The chipset has a peak clock speed of 3.0GHz and is equipped with three performance cores clocked at 2.85GHz and four efficiency cores clocked at 1.79GHz.

Surfaces of the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra with Snapdragon 8S Gen 3
Early this week, renders of the Edge 50 Fusion appeared, and Motorola has previously stated that the Edge 50 Pro will ship on April 3. The highest-end smartphone in the Edge 50 series, the Edge 50 Ultra, has now been shown in renders.
The phone is depicted in the renderings in peach fuzz and black with a vegan leather finish, while sisal, a beige color, will have a brushed surface. As opposed to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 in the Pro variant and the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 in the Edge 50 Fusion, the phone is reportedly powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC.
A 50MP primary camera, an ultra-wide camera, and a periscope telephoto camera with a 5x optical zoom are all included in the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra’s feature set. Additionally, there is a triple LED flash on the right side and a laser autofocus feature above the periscope lens.
Although the phone’s display, battery, and charging specifications are yet unknown, the Edge 50 Pro is said to include 12GB of RAM and support both 50W and 125W wired and wireless charging.
It is anticipated that this will launch as the Motorola X50 Ultra in China. It is unclear if the India launch may be expected on the same day as the rest of the Edge 50 series phones, even if this is scheduled to go official on April 3.
