Samsung unveils Galaxy Book2 Pro laptops with 1080p webcams
New Delhi: Samsung on Monday unveiled its flagship lineup of laptops, including the S Pen-enabled Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 and the 5G-enabled Galaxy Book2 Pro. These laptops feature 1080p FHD webcams and wider viewing angles for better video delivery.
The company said in a statement that both Galaxy Book2 Pro series laptops offer advanced performance, ultra-portable design and the Galaxy experience to keep consumers agile, powered and connected.
The Galaxy Book2 Pro will be available in Graphite and Silver, while the Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 will be available in Burgundy, Graphite and Silver finishes.
“Combining the seamless continuity and secure mobility of our Galaxy devices, users can increase efficiency and embrace the possibilities of the office of the future,” said Hark-sang Kim, Executive Vice President of Mobile Experience Business and Head of the New Computing R&D Team.
The Galaxy Book2 Pro series is the first line of consumer PCs to feature a Microsoft Secured Core PC for an even higher level of protection, running Windows 11 for enhanced protection against potential cyberattacks.
“Delivering the first consumer PC to be Microsoft Secured Core PC certified is a critical step in this effort, as today’s consumers receive the same level of security protection in the office as they do when working remotely,” said David Weston, Corporate Director. System Security, Microsoft.
The Galaxy Book2 Pro series offers up to 21 hours of battery life with an ultra-fast universal USB Type-C charger.
The Galaxy Book2 Pro series features the latest 12th Gen Intel Core processors.
Studio Mode has also been updated with many new features, including automatic framing, new background effects and facial effects tools.
The Galaxy Book2 Pro series also supports AKG and Dolby Atmos sound technologies.

Early this week, renders of the Edge 50 Fusion appeared, and Motorola has previously stated that the Edge 50 Pro will ship on April 3. The highest-end smartphone in the Edge 50 series, the Edge 50 Ultra, has now been shown in renders.
The phone is depicted in the renderings in peach fuzz and black with a vegan leather finish, while sisal, a beige color, will have a brushed surface. As opposed to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 in the Pro variant and the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 in the Edge 50 Fusion, the phone is reportedly powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC.
A 50MP primary camera, an ultra-wide camera, and a periscope telephoto camera with a 5x optical zoom are all included in the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra’s feature set. Additionally, there is a triple LED flash on the right side and a laser autofocus feature above the periscope lens.
Although the phone’s display, battery, and charging specifications are yet unknown, the Edge 50 Pro is said to include 12GB of RAM and support both 50W and 125W wired and wireless charging.
It is anticipated that this will launch as the Motorola X50 Ultra in China. It is unclear if the India launch may be expected on the same day as the rest of the Edge 50 series phones, even if this is scheduled to go official on April 3.
