Visa Curbs Eased; OCI Card Holders Can Visit India, Not For Tourism
Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card holders and overseas nationals can go to India for any purpose, besides on vacationer visa, the authorities stated nowadays because it eased visa and tour regulations imposed amid the coronavirus pandemic.
In a massive flow to get air tour again on track, the authorities has restored the validity of all present visas, almost 8 months once they had been suspended withinside the wake of the virus disaster and the national lockdown.
“The authorities has determined to make a graded rest in visa and tour regulations for extra classes of overseas nationals and Indian nationals who want to go into or go away India,” an order from the Union Home Ministry says.

Under this graded rest, the authorities has determined to repair with on the spot impact all present visas, besides digital visa, vacationer visa and scientific visa, the assertion stated.
The permission for Overseas Citizens of India and overseas nationals to go into the united states of america consists of permitted air or water routes, together with flights operated beneathneath the Vande Bharat Mission air delivery bubble preparations or through any non-scheduled industrial flights as allowed through the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
All such tourists will, but need to comply with the suggestions of the Union Health Ministry concerning quarantine and different Covid protocols.
The authorities had limited air tour – inward and outward – on account that February this 12 months because of the pandemic.
Scheduled worldwide passenger flights were suspended in India on account that March 23.
