Deepika Padukone, Ananya Panday, Siddhant & others celebrate Gehraiyaan’s success
Gehraiyaan’s star cast and creator are currently enjoying the success of the film. Fans loved the performances of Deepika Padukone, Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Dhairya Karwa under the direction of Shakun Batras. On February 20, they got together to celebrate the film’s huge success. It should be noted that the film was released on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video on February 10. The film’s songs also won praise from audiences and well-wishers alike.
Producer Karan Johar shared an inside photo from the success party. In the photo, Deepika, Ananya, Siddhant, Dhairya and Shakun Batra were seen posing together and smiling for the photo. They all looked glamorous and stunning in the picture. Deepika was wearing an all-white assemble and Ananya Panday opted for a pink co-ord set. Siddhant and Dhairya were also in their best attires. The photo was also reshared by Ananya and Siddhant on the story sections of their Instagram handles.
Earlier, Ranveer Singh had also praised Deepika Padukone’s performance after watching Gehraiyaan. During the Instagram Live, he said: “I have Gehraiyaan and Oh My God! What my wife did! What a great achievement! As an actor, when you see another actor give so much, it feels like wow. The amount she gave and her soul. I’ve worked with Shakun before and I’ve worked with Deepika. I always tell her she’s Shakun’s kind of actor and they should work together because their synergy creates Something special. So when the opportunity presented itself, I encouraged her to try it. And what they created together. What a great show. I was blown away and I will be proud of the rest of my life. She lived this In the character, every moment, you can tell. It’s really hard to get into her character Alisha. Arguably one of the most nuanced portrayals of her.”

Even though Kangana Ranaut has been receiving a lot of attention for her public talks, her comparison of herself to Amitabh Bachchan at a recent speech at an election rally has generated a lot of controversy online.
Actress Kangana Ranaut, who is well-known for her blunt remarks, is presently engaged in the Lok Sabha election campaign. She is a candidate for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the Himachal Pradesh district of Mandi. Although her statements in public have garnered a lot of attention, her comparison of herself to Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan in a recent speech at an electoral rally has sparked a lot of conversation online.

Since then, the video of her statement has gone viral and sparked a range of emotions from online users. Despite her recent run of box office disappointments, many people have expressed sarcasm over her comparison to one of Bollywood’s most beloved legends. After releasing her final successful movie in 2015, Kangana has a string of 15 consecutive failures. As it shared the video on X (previously Twitter), a verified parody account said, “Here she is comparing herself to Amitabh Bachchan 😂😂.”
Another Twitterati said, “Judging by her speeches, Kangana Ranaut might be the first actress in the nation to get a national award for her role as an election candidate.”
It was called the “best joke of the year” by one user and the “peak level of self-obsession” by another.
“The next stage of self-obsession is this.” Following a string of poor performances, Kangana Ranaut equated herself to Amitabh Bachchan. According to a verified X account that supports the Congress, “Nobody has ever insulted Amit Ji like this before.”
In response, another Twitter user sent a photo of the headline of an old news story detailing Kangana’s 2022 action film Dhaakad’s poor box office performance—which ended up being a huge failure. The headline stated, “Dhaakad box office collection: Kangana Ranaut’s film sells 20 tickets and collects Rs 4420 on day 8.”
The seventh and final round of the current general elections is set to take place on June 1, with elections for the Mandi Lok Sabha seat. Ram Swaroop Sharma of the BJP won the seat in 2019, however it was left empty after his death in 2021. Pratibha Singh of the Congress won the seat back in the ensuing by-election later that year.
