Malti was born prematurely, and Priyanka Chopra brings her home after 100 days
This Mother’s Day, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are especially grateful because they were able to bring their daughter Malti home from the hospital. Priyanka wrote a lengthy message in which she explained that her daughter was born prematurely and had spent 100 days in the NICU (neonatal intensive care unit).
The couple welcomed their daughter via surrgate in January. They did not reveal her name, but her birth certificate lists her name as Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, which was discovered by the media. Priyanka and Nick’s mothers inspired the names.
“On this Mother’s Day, we can’t help but think back on the past few months and the rollercoaster ride we’ve been on, which we now know, many others have also gone through.” “Our little girl is finally home after 100 days in the NICU,” Priyanka wrote.
“Every family’s journey is unique and requires a certain level of faith,” she continued, “and while ours was a difficult few months, what has become abundantly clear in retrospect is how precious and perfect every moment is.” We are overjoyed that our little girl has returned home, and we want to express our gratitude to every doctor, nurse, and specialist at Rady Children’s La Jolla and Cedar Sinai, Los Angeles, who helped us along the way. Our next chapter starts right now.
She also wished Mother’s Day greetings to her fans. “To all the mothers and caregivers in my life and around the world, Happy Mother’s Day!” You make it appear so simple. I appreciate it. Also, I’d rather do this with you than anyone else. Thank you for turning me into a mother. @nickjonas She wrote, “I love you Ps- thx @divya jyoti masi for the picture and @akarikalai masi for MMs fit.”
On his Instagram account, Nick Jonas also wished Priyanka with the same photo. “Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible mothers and caregivers out there,” he said, “but I want to take a minute to wish my incredible wife @priyankachopra a special Mother’s Day wish on her first Mother’s Day.”
