Shaan, a singer, pays tribute to KK by performing his classic song “Pal” at an event
Krishnakumar Kunnath, better known by his stage name KK, has passed away. His songs, on the other hand, live on and enthral millions of people who enjoy listening to him. KK was a fantastic singer who appeared in films such as Raees, Jannat, Om Shanti Om, and Kites. In Kolkata, where he was performing at a concert, the singer died of a cardiac arrest. Shaan Mukherji, also known as Shaan, was a good friend of KK’s. They worked together on a number of chart-topping songs, including Koi Kahi, Time To Disco, Dus Bahane, and Golmaal, and were most recently seen on Kapil Sharma’s comedy show. Both of them had a strong bond, and KK’s death came as a shock to them.
Shaan couldn’t help but sing a song in honour of the legendary KK while performing at an event. Shaan began by saying that he’d like to begin the evening by remembering KK and singing his timeless song, which contained a deep philosophical message. He performed in front of the audience, singing ‘Pal,’ one of KK’s most popular songs, to a standing ovation. “Remembering Kakes,” Shaan wrote on Instagram, sharing his performance in honour of KK. I’m not sure why, but that’s how I refer to him. Kakes”. Shaan’s post was brief but heartfelt, delving deeper into the relationship between the two maestros for his followers.
Shaan shared a beautiful collage of himself and KK on his Instagram page after learning of KK’s tragic death. He wrote a lengthy post about how special and unique the bereaved singer was, as well as how difficult it would be for his wife and children to cope. KK’s most recent release was Yeh Hausla from Ranveer Singh’s 83, and he has a number of unreleased songs scheduled for release in 2023. His most recent musical project is said to be the Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Tiger 3, which will be released on Eid 2023 and directed by Maneesh Sharma.

Anushka Sharma was in full cheer mode as she rooted for her husband, Virat Kohli, and Team India during the India vs Australia Test match in Perth on Saturday. The actor was spotted enthusiastically cheering him on from the stands, and fans were totally loving her vibe. The actor was spotted in the stands during the ongoing Test match between India and Australia at Optus Stadium, Perth. Anushka kept her look simple in a white T-shirt teamed with denims. Several photos and videos from the stadium featuring the actor have surfaced on social media.
In one clip, she is clapping for the team, while in one she is standing with a plate in her hand. She was also spotted celebrating along with Sanjana Ganesan when Harshit Rana took Virat Kohli’s advice to dismiss Mitchell Starc.
Before the opening test got underway, Anushka and Virat along with their kids were spotted spending time in Perth. In the photo, Virat and Anushka are seen sipping coffee with their daughter, Vamika, sitting in a stroller.
Fans react
Fans were thrilled to see Anushka come out to support her husband and took to social media to express their admiration for the couple. “She is the great support of Kohli. Great couple,” wrote one user, with another sharing, “Queen supporting the king”.
“Bhabhi ji in the house,” exclaimed one user, with another mentioning, “Bhabhi ji arrived”. “Kohli’s ladyluck,” read one comment. One user wrote, “Anushka Supporting her charm”. “Queen of cricket,” gushed one user.

Anushka and Virat welcomed their elder daughter, Vamika, on January 11, 2021. They once again became parents to their younger son, Akaay, on February 15, 2024. They have not shown either of their kids’ faces to the world.
Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli divide their time between London and Mumbai as they have houses in both cities. Anushka has been away from films since her last release, Zero, in 2018. She finished Chakda Xpress, the biopic of Jhulan Goswami, in 2022. However, the film is yet to get a release date. Chakda Xpress is slated to be released on Netflix.
