Actress Sofía Vergara claims that filming Griselda’s sexual scenes “kept me awake” and “worried.”

As Sofía Vergara filmed sex scenes for the 2024 crime drama “Griselda,” she revealed that she felt “worried” and insecure.

The 51-year-old Emmy nominee said at a June 2 Netflix FYSEE event that one of the times she felt uncomfortable was filming personal scenes for the miniseries. This was reported by The US Sun.

In “The Cocaine Godmother,” Vergara skillfully portrayed Griselda Blanco, the head of one of the most successful drug cartels in history, while navigating the complicated nature of the character’s life and demise.

She admitted, “I don’t think I’ve ever done like, a sex scene,” pointing out that she and co-star Ed O’Neill didn’t have any such sequences on “Modern Family.”

“I’m fifty years old! I mean, I wouldn’t have worried if I had been thirty. I believe I was concerned about how I would appear.

“I was like, ‘Where are they shooting me?’” the woman said. The cellulite? from the exterior. I guess I’m conceited. I believe that one kept me awake.

The actress from Hot Pursuit said that the sequences “came out good.”

“The director, Andy [Baiz], is really artistic and made me feel very comfortable. He’s like, ‘We’re never going to stay like a long time on you [the camera.’” It’s really dark.

Vergara’s “physical transformation” was one of the “most difficult elements of the entire programme.”

“That was in Miami in the ’70s and ’80s,” Vergara stated. For me, getting the look just right was crucial.

“I had to vanish.”

The Modern Family actress said, “We had five wigs, different time periods,” in an interview about her hairstyle.

“She has fake eyebrows that are glued on, prosthetic eyebrow covers, a nose, and a plate of teeth that is slightly bucked.”

The judge of “America’s Got Talent” declared to People, “I’m going to fight it from the beginning to the end.” I am aware that I have changed. However, I don’t think I’ll ever have the bravery to have all-white hair like that.

“I think you have to make the most of everything available to you. She told Allure, “I mean, if you care about ageing,” in reference to her opinion on plastic surgery. “When I’m ready, I feel like I’m going to have every plastic surgery procedure possible.”

However, the actor recently opened up about the dark period she endured during her years-long hiatus from Hollywood. As per E! News, in a recent interview, the 49-year-old actor discussed the personal challenges she faced during her time away from acting.

“I went very dark for reasons I’d rather not explain, but I didn’t have a lot of light and life within me,” Jolie revealed, adding, “Your light’s dim,” as per E! News.

The actor, who is known for her work both on-screen and in humanitarian efforts, further explained that during this period, she “also just needed to be home more,” which limited her ability to take on long-term projects.

Jolie, who shares six children with ex-husband Brad Pitt, spoke candidly about the practical and emotional factors that influenced her choices during that time. “The choice of what to work on and when was not a creative choice, often, the last few years, but sometimes the practical choice,” she said, reflecting on the challenges of balancing personal and professional demands.

Jolie’s time away from acting was largely marked by intense personal challenges, including ongoing legal battles with Pitt over their divorce. These years of turbulence had a profound impact on the actress, who described Maria as a turning point in her journey toward healing. “Maria was the beginning of starting to come alive again,” Jolie shared, adding, “I needed a lot of kind people around me to hold my hand.”

While her focus on family and personal recovery kept Jolie away from acting, she remained involved in other creative projects. In recent years, she co-produced the Broadway musical The Outsiders, which premiered in April 2024 and directed the war drama Without Blood, which was well-received at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival.

Her daughter Vivienne worked as her assistant on The Outsiders production, while sons Maddox and Pax were production assistants for Maria.
