After Govinda Naam Mera, I won’t serve as a bai for anyone, says Trupti Khamkar
Trupti Khamkar, who shot to fame with her role as Govinda’s bai in the hit film Govinda Naam Mera, has said that she will not be working as a bai for anyone after the film.
Khamkar, who hails from a small village in Maharashtra, said that she was not looking for any more roles as a bai and that she would now focus on her studies.
“I am very happy with the way my life has changed after Govinda Naam Mera. I never thought that I would get such a big break and that people would recognise me. But I am not looking for any more roles as a bai, I want to focus on my studies now,” she said.
Khamkar’s role in the film was widely praised and she won several awards for her performance.
