After seven years, Trevor Noah leaves The Daily Show: “Thankful for you all,”

On Monday, Trevor Noah announced that he would be leaving The Daily Show after seven years.

“Thankful for you all,” he said in a statement. “This has been an incredible journey and I’m so proud of all that we’ve accomplished together.”

Noah joined The Daily Show in 2015, taking over for Jon Stewart. He has been widely praised for his work on the show, winning multiple Emmys and a Peabody Award.

Noah has not announced where he will be going next, but he says he is “excited for what’s to come.”
