Over the years, Alia Bhatt has made a name for herself as a successful performer, businesswoman, and style icon. In a recent interview with Economic Times, the actor discussed the major choices that have most influenced her appeal and reputation on a global scale.

When asked what elements contributed to her success in making the move from a Bollywood performer to a well-known figure worldwide, Alia replied, “It’s difficult to pinpoint what factors worked.” However, I’ve always thought that when anything is considered to have international appeal, it crosses boundaries and language. Emotion is, in my opinion, the universal response to that. I’m not paying attention to the language while I consume German, Korean, or Malayalam material. I identify with the core narrative and the feeling it portrays. Early in my career, I have had the great fortune to play roles with a wide range of emotional complexity. I’m totally absorbed in the role I’m playing. . My intention is always to go for different characters, and hopefully, that has come across to the audience. I wouldn’t want to be pigeonholed into a specific type of film. I challenge myself to see if I can do different kinds of films.”

She added that when she joined up for Udta Punjab, a lot of people, including Abhishek Choubey, thought it was strange. The performer claimed that obstacles in her professional life frequently motivate her. In closing, Alia stated that viewers will immediately identify with a “buffet of emotions” if they are presented with one.

The 2024 Met Gala appearance of Alia Bhatt
Alia recently wore a saree created by Sabyasachi Mukerji to the Met Gala 2024. Fans appreciated her outfit on the red carpet. It was her second time attending the international fashion show. In 2023, she debuted at the Met Gala wearing an amazing Prabal Gurung costume. Alia also went to the Gucci Cruise show 2025, which was presented by Sabato De Sarno, the creative director of the Italian luxury brand, at the Tate Modern art gallery in London.

The next project Alia Bhatt will work on is her home-produced film Jigra, which also stars Vedang Raina. Alongside her is Sanjay Leela Bhansali in Love and War.

Nargis Fakhri shares first post on Instagram after her sister Aliya Fakhri’s arrest in murder case in the US. The actor did not address the controversy still.

Nargis Fakhri‘s daughter Aliya Fakhri was recently arrested in the US for allegedly murdering her ex-boyfriend and one of his friends. While her mother defended her, Nargis has maintained silence on the matter. However, the actor as now shared a post which is going viral on social media.

Nargis Fakhri’s Instagram post

Nargis Fakhri took to Instagram stories and shared a picture with her Housefull 5 co-stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Sonam Bajwa from the sets and wrote, “we are coming for you.” In the photo, the three ladies looked excited as they posed together while getting ready.

A source close to India Today told the publication that Nargis Fakhri hasn’t been in contact with her sister for over 20 years and only got to know about the incident through news. “She has not been in touch with her sister for over 20 years. The actor learned about the incident through the news, just like everyone else,” the source stated. On the other hand, their mother defended Aliya and said, “I don’t think she would be killing someone. She was a person who was caring for everybody. She tried to help everybody,” multiple news outlets reported.

What did Aliya Fakhri do?

Aliya Fakhri allegedly set a two-storey garage on fire by lighting up a heap of garbage in Queens killing his 35-year-old ex-boyfriend Edward Jacobs and his friend, 33-year-old Anastasia Ettienne. Aliya took this step after her ex-boyfriend denied her request to reconcile their relationship. She now faces a total of nine charges, four for a first-degree murder, four for second-degree murder and an arson charge and will appear in court on December 9.
