Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max is now available for purchase in India. Sales of the new Fire TV Stick have started during the Amazon’s Great India Festival. Fire TV Stick 4K Max was launched last month as Amazon’s most advanced streaming media device, an upgrade to the existing Fire TV Stick 4K. It is equipped with Wi-Fi 6 connection and supports Dolby Vision playback.

Users of Fire TV Stick 4K Max can watch 4K content through top (OTT) platforms including Amazon Prime Video and Netflix. The highest price of Amazon Fire TV 4K in India is set at Rs. 6,499. Customers can purchase a new Fire TV Stick through Amazon.in or visit Amazon kiosks in nearby malls during the Amazon India Festival promotion.

Amazon Fire TV 4K Max is said to be 40% more powerful than Fire TV Stick 4K, with faster application launches and smoother navigation. The new experience comes from the quad-core MediaTek MT8696 SoC clocked at 1.8GHz. It is equipped with 2GB of memory and an IMG GE8300 GPU clocked at 750MHz. In contrast, the early Fire TV Stick 4K included a quad-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz, as well as 1.5GB of RAM and an IMG GE8300 GPU running at 650MHz.

There is also 8GB of onboard storage space on the Fire TV Stick 4K Max for storing applications and games. In addition to hardware that supports a faster experience, Fire TV Stick 4K Max is also equipped with Wi-Fi 6, which can provide better connections through Wi-Fi 802.11ac (Wi-Fi 5) supported by earlier Fire TV Stick models. However, you will need a compatible router to get the next-generation Wi-Fi experience. However, existing routers are backward compatible.
