Apple Fitness+ to Launch Collections, Time to Run Services With New Season of Time to Walk, Artist Spotlight

Apple Fitness+ will get Time to Run, an “audio running experience” designed to improve the running of users, from next week. The Cupertino-based tech giant will also launch Collections, a “curated series of workouts and meditation from the Fitness+ library”.

Both the new services will be linked to the Apple Watch. Apple Fitness+ will also drop the third season of Time to Walk next week, along with a new Artist Spotlight feature with music from well-known artistes.

Apple’s Vice President of Fitness Technologies Jay Blahnik said in a blog post: “At the beginning of a new year, we know many people are looking for new ways to go after their goals.”

“With these new additions, Fitness+ makes it easy to get motivated and stay active anywhere, with the most complete library of high-quality and diverse content to train your mind and body, no matter where you are on your fitness journey.”

Collections will come with a series of workouts and meditations to help users reach fitness goals. It will have six collections at launch — 30-day Core Challenge, Improve Your Posture with Pilates, Perfect Your Yoga Balance Poses, Run Your First 5K, Strengthen Your Back, Stretch Your Hips, and Wind Down for a Better Bedtime.

Time to Run, on the other hand, will have coaching tips from the likes of Emily Fayette, Sam Sanchez, Jamie-Ray Hartshorne, Cory Wharton-Malcolm, Scott Carvin. Each episode features motivational playlists curated by the trainers. The feature will launch a new episode every Monday.

Time to Walk, a podcast of sorts, will have celebrities, health experts, and activists sharing motivational stories with subscribers. New guests will feature each week with Rebel Wilson kicking off season three. Other guests this season include Hasan Minhaj, Chris Meloni, and Bernice King.

The Artist Spotlight will feature workouts with music by Pharrell Williams, Ed Sheeran, Shakira, and The Beatles.

SpiceJet announces 8 new flights to connect Jaipur with Varanasi, Amritsar and Ahmedabad

SpiceJet expands its domestic network with 8 new flights that will connect Jaipur with Varanasi, Amritsar and Ahmedabad and also link Ahmedabad with Pune.

SpiceJet is further expanding its domestic network with the launch of eight new flights starting November 15.

In the statement released on Wednesday, the airline announced that these new routes will connect Jaipur with Varanasi, Amritsar and Ahmedabad, while also linking Ahmedabad with Pune. This expansion follows the recent launch of 32 new flights in October 2024, including two international flights connecting Delhi with Phuket.

Last month, SpiceJet also commenced UDAN flights linking Shivamogga in Karnataka with Chennai and Hyderabad, and introduced double daily flights between Chennai and Kochi, enhancing connectivity across key regional and metropolitan cities.

“We are excited to announce the launch of new flights from Jaipur to Varanasi, Amritsar, and Ahmedabad, as well as from Ahmedabad to Pune, providing our passengers with greater flexibility and convenience,” SpiceJet Chief Business Officer Debojo Maharshi said.

“These new flights reflect our commitment to supporting passenger demand across tier-II cities and beyond. With our expanded winter schedule, including international and UDAN routes, we aim to provide our customers with greater convenience, affordability, and seamless travel experiences,” Maharshi added.

SpiceJet will deploy its 78-seater Q400 aircraft in these sectors. Bookings for the new flights are now open and tickets are available at the website of the airline, SpiceJet’s mobile app and through online travel portals and travel agents.

On Monday, the airline received a significant boost, with Acuite Ratings & Research Limited upgrading its long-term rating by four notches to ‘B ‘ and its short-term rating to A4. The rating agency has also assigned a ‘Stable’ outlook to the airline.
