As he waits in line with pals, supporters yell, “Lota kidhar hai,” at Kapil Sharma. See how his followers fared after “Ka Postmortem”
Kapil Sharma is one of India’s most popular comedians. He’s also one of the most polarizing. Some people love him, some people hate him.
But after his show, “Ka Postmortem,” aired, it seems like more people are in the latter camp.
The show was a spoof on the postmortem of a celebrity. And while some found it funny, many others thought it was in bad taste.
Now, it seems like Kapil’s fans are turning on him. As he was waiting in line with some friends, supporters started yelling, “Lota kidhar hai,” which means, “Where is your lota?”
Lota is a Hindi word for a water pitcher. And in this context, it’s used as an insult, meaning that Kapil is a fraud.
It’s unclear how Kapil will recover from this latest controversy. But it seems like his once-loyal fans are now turning on him.

The new BJP government in Haryana will be sworn in as the Haryana Chief Minister on October 17. The oath-taking ceremony will be held in Panchkula, the party said in a statement.
