Bheemla Nayak box office collection Day 3: Pawan Kalyan film zooms past Rs 100 crore

Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati’s Bheemla Nayak go head-to-head with Ajith Kumar’s Valimai at the theatre. Like Valimai, Bheemla Nayak has grossed Rs 100 crore at the global box office in just three days. Both films dominated the box office, resulting in fantastic collections. Bheemla Nayak received rave reviews from critics and audiences alike.

BHEEMLA NAYAK earns Rs 100 crore globally
After several delays, Bheemla Nayak finally saw the light on February 25. For the uninitiated, Bheemla Nayak is the official Telugu remake of the Malayalam hit Ayyappanum Koshiyum directed by the late filmmaker Sachy.

According to trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan, the film has grossed Rs 100 crore globally. He wrote: “#BheemlaNayak joined the 100 cr club today [day 3]. #PawanKalyan (sic).”

Apart from India, Bheemla Nayak’s theatrical start in the US is also promising. In three days, the film grossed around Rs 14.95 crore in the US.

Likewise, Bheemla Nayak was appreciated by the Chennai audience. Trade Analyst LM Kaushik wrote: “Weekend Bo for Chennai City, Overall Winner, 1st #Valimai (in National Miles), 2nd #BheemlaNayak, 3rd #GangubaiKathiawadi, 4th #FIR, 5th #Uncharted (sic).”

Bheemla Nayak saw Pawan Kalyan play the lead role, while Rana Daggubati attempted the role of retired soldier Daniel Shekar. The film is directed by Saagar K Chandra and written by Trivikram Srinivas. In addition to Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati, the film also stars Nithya Menen, Samyuktha Menon, Samuthirakani, Rao Ramesh and Murali Sharma in key roles.

The Telugu film Family Star, directed by Parasuram Petla, has collected an estimated ₹5.75 crore nett in India on its first day of box office collection, marking an impressive opening day for the film.

Family Star reported a 38.45% Telugu occupancy on day 1, with Warangal having the highest occupancy (57.5%), followed by Visakhapatnam and Kakinada (56.75% each).
