Fans yell “create Devdas” as they see Naga Chaitanya in the Sanjay Leela Bhansali office

On Tuesday, Naga Chaitanya was seen leaving director Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s office in Mumbai. Naga Chaitanya is currently working on the Laal Singh Chaddha publicity campaign, which stars Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor. Pictures of Chaitanya outside Bhansali’s office were widely shared on social media, and the actor’s supporters responded by pleading with the director to cast the actor in Devdas. Many years ago, Nageswara Rao, who is Chaitanya’s grandfather, appeared in the Telugu version of Devdas.

Devadasu, a movie from 1953, is still regarded as one of the most recognisable in the Telugu film industry. Ask Bhansali (Sanjay Leela Bhansali) to make Devdas with him, a fan of Naga Chaitanya’s latest outing in Mumbai wrote in Telugu in the tweet’s comments section. Another person commented, “Bollywood’s top (filmmaker) is finally unearthing our hidden gem.” In the images that were posted on Twitter and Instagram by paparazzi and fan pages, Chaitanya could be seen sporting a black t-shirt and a pair of light brown khaki chinos.

Recently, Chaitanya appeared in the Telugu movie Thank You. He has a significant role in his upcoming movie, Laal Singh Chaddha. Chaitanya had been added to the cast to take the place of Vijay Sethupathi, who had been contracted to play the role initially. Chaitanya will make his Bollywood debut in this film, which will feature him as a close friend of Aamir Khan. His part was filmed in Ladakh for more than a month. The Indian version of Forrest Gump starred by Tom Hanks is called Laal Singh Chaddha. Chaitanya will portray Benjamin Buford Blue, also known as Bubba.

With director Venkat Prabhu, Chaitanya will soon start production on his upcoming Tamil-Telugu bilingual movie. This was the first contract he had signed following his divorce from Samantha Ruth Prabhu, his ex-wife. Chaitanya appeared in the Telugu romantic drama Love Story last year, which went on to become one of his biggest commercial successes. Sai Pallavi appeared in the Sekhar Kammula-directed movie as well.

Family Star review

The Hindustan Times’ review of the movie Family Star, starring Vijay Deverakonda and directed by Parasuram Petla, suggests that the film struggles to make a mark or entertain, with issues reminiscent of Geetha Govindam (2018). The film tests patience and fails to maintain interest as it progresses.

The review criticizes the plot of Family Star, stating that it is thin and defies logic, making it difficult to enjoy. It also suggests that the film’s portrayal of middle-class life is caricaturish, as if it was written by someone unfamiliar with the realities of such a life.
