The current Commonwealth Games 2022 saw Indian shuttler PV Sindhu win a gold medal in women’s singles badminton. Soon, the badminton player received a deluge of congratulations on social media. Kangana Ranaut, Kajol, Taapsee Pannu, Tamannaah Bhatia, and other Bollywood stars congratulated Sindhu on winning the gold at the CWG.


Kangana penned: “A country led by young women has a strong sense of culture, kindness, and high moral principles. Congratulate PV Sindhu on becoming a role model as well as the medals she has won.”

Kajol disclosed, “Our ace shuttler gave a truly outstanding performance. I’m happy to congratulate PV Sindhu on her gold medal.”

Tweeted Taapsee, “Our girl succeeded! Congratulations. @Pvsindhu1 wins the gold for us,” Tamannaah added.”

In the meantime, Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted his congratulations to Sindhu “A champion of champions, @Pvsindhu1 is incredible! She exemplifies excellence time and time again. Her commitment and dedication are admirable. Thank you for congratulating her on her gold medal at the CWG. I wish her luck in all of her future endeavours. #Cheer4India.”

With the victory, she also secured her first-ever women’s singles medal at the CWG 2022 as well as India’s first-ever gold medal in badminton.

Partha Sarathi Deb passed away on Friday, and his remains were taken to Technician’s Studio at 12 pm.

Bengali actor Partha Sarathi Deb, aged 68, passed away at a Kolkata hospital while undergoing treatment, according to his family.

Partha passed away at 11:50 pm on Friday night due to COPD-related ailments. He had been admitted to state-run M R Bangur hospital for the last month, and his condition worsened over the past week, and he was in the ICU.

Actor Jeet expressed sadness over the loss of colleague and WBAF committee member Partha Sarathi Deb on X, sharing a photo and offering condolences to his bereaved family and friends.

Actress Rupanjana Mitra announced the news on Facebook, writing a lengthy note in Bengali.

Partha, the vice president of the West Bengal Motion Picture Artists Forum, condoled the death of actor Amit Shah and announced that his body would be taken to Technician Studio, a familiar place for him.

The forum is deeply saddened by the actor’s passing and will keep his remains at Technician’s Studio on March 23, where his loved ones, teammates, and well-wishers can pay their last respects.
