‘Covid-19 will end in 2022 if…’: WHO chief lists one condition

A new variant of the coronavirus called Omicron has recently appeared in South Africa and has caused a surge in Covid-19 infections worldwide. It has been classified as a “variant of concern” by the World Health Organization.

The above remarks were made after the WHO granted emergency use authorization for the ninth vaccine produced by the Serological Institute of India (SII) under the Novavax license.
