Drake’s nightmare: After the drive-by shooting, an intruder was taken into custody at the rapper’s Toronto residence.

Due to an attempted break-in, Toronto police were summoned to Drake’s house once more the day following the incident.

At around 2:00 pm on Wednesday, May 8, authorities apprehended a person who was attempting to enter the Drake’s Bridle Path property without permission.

He was detained by Drake’s personal protection until the cops showed up.

The arrest was conducted in accordance with the Mental Health Act, a police spokeswoman told CityNews Toronto.

The intruder’s name has not been made public.

Growing concern over Drake’s home’s security

The drive-by shooting happened early on Tuesday when unknown gunmen pulled up in a car and started firing at Drake’s house.

The security guy was promptly sent to the hospital after suffering injuries during the incident. The guard’s injuries are not publicly known to the full degree.

After the shooting, Police Duty Inspector Paul Krawczyk addressed the media, saying that while the culprits fled in a car, they “cannot speak to a motive at this time.”

Krawczyk stated, “We’re dealing with issues with video quality.”
