The actor claims that the production crew built a special freezer where they spent 20 days filming at – 15 degrees Celsius.

At a press conference in Delhi, Janhvi recalled her experience and stated, “I remember it (the film) having a true toll on my mental health because I would come home after wrapping up the production and I would go to sleep and I got sick and had to take really strong medications for Within two to three days, even the director fell ill.

“It is not glamorous for sure if you spend 15 hours of your day in a freezer in a locked environment sobbing for the majority of the day, sometimes with a rat that keeps biting your fingers,” said Janhvi. She added that the director advised her to put on 7.5 kg for the movie in order to appear more relevant to the audience.

In addition to Janhvi, Mili also prominently includes Sunny Kaushal and Manoj Pahwa. She experienced nightmares about being trapped in a freezer, reflecting the psychological strain of embodying such a character. Kapoor shared, “I remember it (film) taking a genuine toll on my mental health because I would come back home after wrapping up the shoot and I would go to sleep and dream that I was still in the freezer.”
