‘Form is temporary, class is permanent. It applies here’, says Pujara on form

Indian batsman Cheteshwar Pujara scored an important half-century on the third day of the second test against South Africa in Johannesburg-both in the context of the game and in his form. Pujara has gone through a difficult period, but on Thursday, he and Ajinkya Rahane established a 111-point position-another senior batsman has been under the scanner due to long struggles. Rahane also scored for half a century, because India invested 266 times on the chessboard, allowing Proteas to aim for 240 wins.

In the press conference after the third day, Pujara said that he and Rahane are working hard to train for his game, and both have received “support” from the team’s management.

“We are very confident and the team management has also given a lot of support. We have been learning from Sunny bhai. Whenever I talk to him, he has always been very supportive. So yes, sometimes, if you’re experiencing Bad state, there will be problems, no doubt, but our confident players, myself and Ajinkya, we know that we are working hard on our game, and there is a saying that the form is temporary and the course is permanent, so I I think it applies here,” Pujara said.

“I think if we continue to work hard in our games, we have done well for the Indian team in the past, and the management has shown a lot of confidence in us, it will definitely be rewarded. It has already paid off, but I think As we continue to play more games, as a batsman, once you recover, you will continue to score and continue to rise,” he added. Although Pujara scored 53 points in 86 pitches, Rahane scored 78 goals against his 58.

“I think the cooperation with Ajinkya is very important because we are at a stage where we hope to achieve some results on the board. I think this is not only about my score, but also about the team’s final total score. So the cooperation with Ajinkya is a It’s a very important one for us,” Pujara said.

“Well, the team management has always been very supportive, so I want to say this is just outside noise. The coaching staff, the captain, everyone supports all the players, we have been working hard. Sometimes you don’t run too much, but as a board The most important thing for a ball player is to follow the correct procedures, have good professional ethics, and continue to work hard, because sometimes you can’t run, but if you follow the correct process, you can run on the board,” he added.

South Africa beat India in the second game with a score of 266, and then made a good start on Wednesday’s stump with a score of 118/2, while the hosts are only 122 times away from the draw of the three-game series.
