In the Besharam Rang controversy, Prakash Raj stands by Deepika Padukone and denounces the “Besharam bigots.”

Prakash Raj, an actor and director who is known for his outspoken views, has come out in support of Deepika Padukone in the wake of the Besharam Rang controversy.

Raj took to Twitter to denounce the “besharam bigots” who have been criticising Deepika for her comments on skin colour. He also praised Deepika for her courage in speaking out against discrimination.

This is not the first time Raj has spoken out against discrimination in India. He has been an outspoken critic of caste-based discrimination and has also spoken out against discrimination against women.

Raj’s support for Deepika is significant because he is one of the few high-profile personalities to come out in her support. Deepika has been criticised by many people, including some from within the film industry, for her comments on skin colour.

However, Raj’s support is likely to boost Deepika’s morale as she faces down her critics.

Family Star review

The Hindustan Times’ review of the movie Family Star, starring Vijay Deverakonda and directed by Parasuram Petla, suggests that the film struggles to make a mark or entertain, with issues reminiscent of Geetha Govindam (2018). The film tests patience and fails to maintain interest as it progresses.

The review criticizes the plot of Family Star, stating that it is thin and defies logic, making it difficult to enjoy. It also suggests that the film’s portrayal of middle-class life is caricaturish, as if it was written by someone unfamiliar with the realities of such a life.
